Pick a wildcard

Post by Cjay »

Was posted on twitter so thought I'd put here as well.

If you could pick 1 player from these 4 and have them available for us for the final games of this season then who would you pick?

Each player back in the form they were when they were here before, same age and so on.

Pablo. He provides the intelligence, control and vision in midfield that we don't quite have, and which would make this team even more deadly.

Raphinha is perhaps the more individually gifted player, but we already have strength in the area he covers. Pablo brings more to the team.

Raphinha would eat the Championship for breakfast .
At his best he’d terrorise any team in that league.

Has to be Raph for me.

Love Pablo

Appreciate what KP and Harrison did when here.

But Raph was next level.

He was creating chances at a better rate per game than players like Son Heung Min for Spurs and Bernardo Silva for Man City whilst playing with far lesser teammates.

He'd win games literally by himself in this league.

Raph
Simply because of his age over pablo, plus I'm thinking we keep him in the PL as well.

Love Pablo but bearing in mind their ages, I would have to go for Raphinha who has played at the highest level

Raph replaces Gnonto ...
Pablo replaces Geo
Harrison wouldn't get in this team over Summerville
Phillips replaces Ampadu or Gruev

I'd go Klich please for Kamara, he'd be the big upgrade. Goal scoring centre mid? No brainer

So none of the above

I can see the obvious need for prime Pablo but I’d love to see what Raph could do in this league. Tear it to shreds I’d imagine.

17 assists folks for Geo, power to add plus he's involved in just about every goal we score from open play and he's netted a few times.

He's #2 on the list over the last 11/12 years ..only Harry Wilson has more with 19 21/22 season

Not sure Pablo gets close to that

Of the 4 I'd go Kalvin ... Pablo isn't needed and not sure Raph would slum it well in the championship
