Solid.

Bit nervy in moments but could have been 3 or 4 with a bit more luck and quality and a competent ref.

Professional performance.

Very solid down the middle from Meslier to Bamford.

Gruev and Kamara effective.

Rodon and Ampadu solid with what little they needed to do.

Summerville, Rutter and Gnonto very good, good to see Jimmy looking livelier.

Bamford worked hard.

And the players off the bench did the job.

Loved 'The cream has finally risen to the top of the Champioship' as posted by faaip on the match thread. I was too late to reply to it

I predicted 2 teams would catch and pass Lester.
That’s 1 and as long as Ipswich don’t fade I expect them to do the same.

This explains it reasonably well.
No idea why people get annoyed by a stat. It’s not gospel it’s just another piece of info some people use to break down a team’s performance.

Honestly, I share the stats for those who can't or don't get to watch the match. Didn't realize xG was such a hot button issue until recently.

If, from here out, we win three, lose three, and draw two we will end on the same 93 points that saw us walk the league four years ago,

Don't think that will be enough.

2 goals - 2xg
2 top saves - 1.5xg (2x0.75)
one off the post 0.75xg
high probability pen turned down 0.5xg
good attempt well defended - 0.25xg

Lads did very well standing up to the Millwall thuggery.

Could have gone into hiding but stood up to it.

For context the most fouls per game this season is unsurprisingly Millwall (13)

Today 21.

It's wierd but once the ball is in the back of the net I expect the goal to be a goal
