And we were, lucky not to concede with Gray & Rodon creating two one on one chances for the Owls

Pos...Clean sheet, we need more of them.
Neg...disjointed performance ( didn't see the game just going by posts on here ) but we will have that for a while until Farke gets his methods across and new players settle in.

P. Dominated for the most part, Gnonto and Shackleton combined very well and also a clean sheet (although if they’d had a good striker we wouldn’t have ).

N. Piroe and Rutter need to swap positions and quickly.

P: Generally dominated and am sure we will be better as the season wears on. Only been a few weeks of Farke training them and also integrating new players. Sheff Wed only came into the game because we didn't kill them off - reminded me a bit of the 1-1 draw with Derby in our promotion season where we dominated but didn't kill them off and they got the late goal to snatch a draw in a match where they could easily have been 4 or 5 down by that point. Also good to see Messlier spread himself well to make a good save and hopefully he is getting his confidence back.

N: Not scoring and Piroe and Rutter looking toothless. Ref not giving us a penalty - seems we're in with a chance of beating our record for consecutive matches without getting a penalty.

Positives - clean sheet and tasty hint of how good Spence may be for us

Negatives - completely toothless and clueless in the last third. Every crap team will just rinse and repeat what Wednesday (and Salford) did to us.

Positives - Clean sheet. Meslier getting his confidence back. Gnonto putting in a shift. Shackleton with another good performance.

Negatives - No goals despite dominating large parts of the game. Rutter not taking good chances. Very rigid in formation & predictable to defend against. Gnonto moved to the right wing once & got a good shot away but moved back to the left for the rest of the game and Piroe & Rutter need to mix it up more as well. I’ve defended Luke Ayling on this forum but he was poor today, Spence will play regularly when fully fit but my stream packed in just as he came on so can’t comment on how he played.
I would be more worried if we weren’t having most of the possession & missing chances but I think it will come together soon.

Pos. The fact that the whole league is afraid of us.
Neg. There will be many many more days like today especially at home.

+ Not much, Meslier save and no goals conceded

- Poor in the final third against a very average side that are relegation candidates.

+ dominating statistically

- dominating statistically, but not getting three points. Gotta start finishing when the opportunities present themselves.

Exactly this. I wouldn’t want an ST this season if all the opposition do is sit back and build a wall around their goal. Frustration is contagious.
