Possibly the most unlikeable tosser they've ever had, that's no easy feat but Fernandes has manged it
Expletive ridden comment……..

The fella who stands behind he me at games, when we played Scum, shouted…..

“f**k off Fernandes, you ugly bucked tooth, bangly legged, skinny ba***rd”

Whilst not condoning the language, I did raise a wry smile.

Well there you go, and a lesson to be learned, you just can't do that if you go up it has to be managed properly, it takes a while to integrate new players into your set up.

I've been wondering why Burnley have gone so shite, and i don't know how many new players they bought.

Their goalie playing it out is atrocious, and if you mess with your core team way too much you're back to square one trying to build.
It has taken Poch and others an absolute age to try and get it right, Chelsea have been lucky coz they spent Gazillions so there must be some talent there to mould together given time.

We won't have that luxury to spend and will no doubt be bargain hunting and trying to unearth some gems.

Df will need time to integrate them one by one.

To use Connor Roberts as an example now, If we were to introduce Roberts into this current team we'd be ok to play as we are whilst he finds his feet with DJ and Willy and Rodon, it would hardly affect us at all.

If we get promoted we have to hope that the any fixture list is kind enough for our core group to get a foothold in the Prem, then 1 by 1 strengthen and better the team everywhere, starting with your worst position, this is why i feel we are bottom 6 strong enough for the Prem atm on a good day with a full team.

And one helluva lot of foreign players just can't cut it in the Prem for one reason or another, the speed of it is usually the undoing of most.

Because they're trying to play like Man Citeh, when they don't have the players or resources to do that. Fans moan about the likes of Moyes and Dyche, but they're just working with what they have, rather than trying to be something they're not.

Apparently direct/long ball football is causing problems in the prem as established teams don't know how to deal with it. At the moment high press/high line football rules and has for a while. The line getting higher all the time. Luton have a chance to stay up despite not having the quality of Burnley, Burnley are just trying to beat teams with championship players while trying to play premiership football

From Ornstein……

Everton points deduction for breach of Premier League profitability & sustainability rules reduced from 10 points to 6 after independent panel appeal hearing into original punishment. 2nd charge appeal hearing still to come

It’s disgraceful- 6 points is nowhere near adequate punishment, might as well scrap the whole thing and let clubs spend what they want

Forest and Everton should take the next 6 points now, probably the safest season to take it

Everton get no choice when to take the punishment for this one, the PL table will be updated to show a 6 point deduction.

P.S Presumably, they will get more points deductions for the second offence (may even be another 6 points, meaning 12 overall).

I know, was just showing how stupid this is, spend what you want to get in to the top 10 and then just take a 6 point loss, its just not an adequate deterrent- had it been us it would likely have been doubled on appeal

No, you’re right, no deterrent whatsoever.

Until someone gets proper slammed for it, the practice will go on and on and on.

It is almost like they gave them a 10 point deduction when they were doing well and looked to be comfortably okay to not get relegated with a 10 point penalty and then when they realised Everton were so shite that they were in a relegation battle they decided to give them some points back.

Hope they get a further points deduction. Let them get relegated, shout 'geronimo' and see how far they fall.

Indeed. Get promoted with a united squad, a team that fought for each other and found ways to win. Then gut that team and sign a load of players who are just going there because it is the premiership and likely have release clauses.

Luton went up. Kept the same players who had been at the club, many who had seen darker days, and let them acclimatise. They struggled like f*ck but they have found their feet because they want it. They don't want to go back down, they want to show they are good footballers. They want to give their all because the club means more to them, their teammates are mates and Luton are showing that they might just survive. They have brought players in but done it well. They have identified where they actually needed to strengthen and done it rather than just replacing the whole team.

That is key. Keep what made you good, keep that spirit, that belief and add quality people to it.

Can we please refrain from posting discrimitary remarks about the everton points deduction, our site is monitored and the powers that be will deduct points from LUFC instead.

Seen it suggested that the Premier League will look for a 6-9 point deduction for Forest.

Everton 2-3 for the 2nd charge.

Table can change but if applied now top end probably sends Forest down.

They'd be on 15 points

And it is exactly what we need to do.

The Forest route of buying 30 players cost goggle eyes his job and they were very lucky to stay up, this current Burnley team i bet half their fans don't even recognise any style similar to the Championship side that went up.
