Back in 1970/71, I bought a pair of green satin trousers (as in the photo above) & a black satin jacket with large white buttons & cream shoes.
My parents were horrified.

Never did singles, even as a ten year old I wanted the album and my first was Electric Warrior, given to me by a friend of mums. Second album with my own money was Blue Oyster Cult in 73, by 16/17 I had around 50 albums, most of which none of my mates had heard of and mostly American

Often the b-sides songs were better than the A sides.
