Just turned on LUTV to watch the last 5 mins of first half.

Good goal by Struijk - our dead ball deliveries on the two free kicks I saw were poor. Have we got no one who can hit a flat ball with pace into the box. Their goal is exactly the type of delivery we should be looking for.

I thought Klich was on his bike during the next window ? If he is, not sure playing a friendly on a cold night is the safest option.

Strikers finish from Rodders, top class.

Good run out for some and opportunity to get mins for others. It is a friendly so no point dissecting individual play.

There's not much you can really take from friendlies, but at least it means there won't be a meltdown 👍

Ayling, Klich & Struijk, the rest were kids for the majority of the 2nd half.

Two excellent goals & a good workout,

I noticed we were more compact when defending, but it was still rather easy to play through our lines. Not sure whether some players just switch off or struggle to recognise danger.
One thing about our pattern of play, I saw very few triangles when playing out or trying to. Quite often we gain the ball in the middle of the park and the first instinct is to play backwards, even when there was other options available. We effectively do the oppositions job of getting 10 players behind the ball for them on a regular basis. I still believe we have too many players who are not willing to accept the ball in a tight situation and pass and move, which means we often play long out of the defence.

Gnonto was the man of the match, retains the ball brilliantly, uses it intelligently & makes things happen

Does anyone know what happened to Jack Harrison last night.

Didn't seem to feature but named in the starting line up ( shown on this thread), or was that a mistake ?

Watched the game on LUTV but missed the first couple of minutes.

Worth having LUTV isn't it Jammy, as opposed to so many dodgy streams that don't work or are unbearable to watch.
