When things were simpler and everyone was on-board. What we have witnessed over the years is greed from the private Entrepreneur. They see people as products. But who are they really???
Re: Post an interesting Youtube video.
For those like me who hadn't seen it before and considering the current market. Once again The Great Man proving he was ahead of his time. The Man who gave his all to the job at Leeds. I wasn't around at the time but i doubt there has been a harder working manager in the history of the game from what i have heard. He looked after Everything.

So is there a plethora of apples in Finland?
Good idea though. Saves buying all the kit, press etc.
Re: Post A Photo You’ve Taken
We have more apples than you can shake a stick at. There is a recycling centre near us where you can take all kinds of garden waste... especially windfall apples that have gone rotten or mouldy and they get fermented into biogas.

So you live in Finland.
Not a country I’d associate with apples tbh.
We should be doing that here, always seeing apples being wasted around the roads here.

You need some fire-proof pants, Rab

Different woods have different BTU, and some burn hotter than others. When cooking like this you don't want such a severe heat... so if you use a wood with a lower BTU it usually has resin in it and it will crackle and spark... which sometimes can be dangerous Sent from my Redmi Note 8 Pro using TapatalkMuppet the Cat wrote:You need some fire-proof pants, Rab
Re: Post A Photo You’ve Taken
In Scotland where I used to live there was the confluence of two rivers the slow running Nith and the fast running Afton. Pike and Perch, course fish inhabited the Nith, and salmon and trout, noble fish were in the Afton.
The course fish were looked down apon because they were predators that ate the spawn and the fry of the noble fish, so I was always more interested in trout and salmon than pike and perch.
Scotsmen used to walk the waters, move along the riverbank while fishing, whereas the Englishmen that I saw sat on the bank of the Nith and threw bait into the water to attract the Pike or perch. Two completely different style of fishing.
Since coming to Finland I have grown to appreciate perch, which in the shops can sell for 19€ a kilo, and I learnt to use a fish trap to catch them.
