Re: Chelsea Thread
Real Madrid have agreed a deal to sign Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger when his contract expires at the end of the season, says Guillem Balague.
Re: Chelsea Thread
Hi WEALLLOVELEEDS, I did not see anyone answer your question. It's been a while since I have been to a game at Elland Road now I live overseas so others here would be better qualified to answer your question. In my experiences when I was actively attending lots of games (late 90s and early 2000s) I never heard or saw any racism directed at players or other fans. It doesn't mean it does not happen, but it is definitely and massively in the minority if it does happen, to the point where I would say it is negligible. Anyone who is a Leeds fan regardless of race, colour, nationality, and so on are always welcome at Elland Road. I ask because Argentina is getting worse and worse and I would like to live in Yorkshire..

Re: Chelsea Thread
Parts of Yorkshire does have its problems with racism but in general it is okay. You should seriously think about Spain though if you are looking to leave Argentina as the language barrier wouldn't be a problem. I loved living in Spain and would rather be still living there than back here in England. Argentina is on my list of places yet to visit but definitely want to make it there one day. Would love to watch Newells and bump into Bielsa - his English will be a million times better than my Spanish!WEALLLOVELEEDS wrote: ↑Thu Mar 24, 2022 9:13 pm If I go to Elland Road (I'm Argentine) will I have problems with the issue of racism? It'd be great if Ken Bates put in a last minute bid to buy them.

Its funny but they still deserve each other , both are nasty scumbags .Chelsea are a vile club , and the less said about Bates the better , the only sad thing is that his and Leeds paths ever crossed .That period under Bates was consistently the worst ever that I remember for Leeds , it made the 80's seem like dreamland .

Bates was the worst owner in the history of professional sports, and if there’s a team I hate more than Scum, it’s Chelsea.

Italian club Inter Milan have agreed a deal to sign striker Romelu Lukaku on a season-long loan from Chelsea.
The Blues signed the 29-year-old from Inter for £97.5m in August 2021, but he will return to the Serie A side having struggled last season.
The loan fee for Lukaku is about 8m euros (£6.9m).
The Belgium international scored 15 goals in all competitions for Chelsea last season, with eight in 26 Premier League appearances.
It is understood Lukaku was willing to take a pay cut to rejoin Inter, who won the Serie A title in 2020-21 with him leading their attack.
Re: Chelsea Thread
Raheem Sterling has joined Chelsea for £50m on a four year deal.

Good signing. I've always liked Raheem.

Turcel not happy
Thomas Tuchel said the Blues "deserved to lose" against Arsenal and questioned Chelsea's commitment, saying they need signings urgently.
"I am far from relaxed," he said. "We were simply not good enough. We were simply not competitive.
"The worrying part is that the level of commitment physically and mentally for this match was far higher for Arsenal than for us," the German added.
"They played I think what is their strongest line-up and structure that you see now for several weeks. This was the line-up they will try to start for Premier League games.
"It was surely not our strongest line-up. This is a part of an explanation but only a little part and the other part is worrying.
"I cannot guarantee we will be ready in two weeks."
