The problem with kiko was that he blows hot and cold. Can be awesome one minute or one month and drop an absolute clanger the next minute or the whole of the next month. Can't be taking such risks in the prem when mistakes/points will be vital

Can’t help feeling we need an experienced keeper as a number two. God forbid our first choice would pick up an injury and have to play Kiko. He was useless last season when he only had the odd save to make and regularly messed that up. Can’t imagine what he’s be like facing liverpool or city’s strikeforce

The highlights from Stoke today were a stark reminder of all that's wrong with Kiko, we need better and we'll need some luck to be able to move him on.

It happens though as Andy Lonergan is the 3rd choice at Liverpool proving anything is possible.

Well it's looking promising on that front, the club have agreed a fee with the Blackpool Tower Circus, Kiko's on his way over for a medical.

Kiko may just be happy to sit out his contract. He did the same at RM. Depends how much we wanna get rid?

I'd like to see Martinez, or Romero, in and jettison Kiko on a free to get his wage off the books.

Obviously a reason he never cut it with Spain and RM, and no competition for him when we swooped.

A goalie of his experience shouldn't be running round like Charlie Chaplin, as he was against Stoke yesterday and that ain't the first time.

Too much at stake to persist with him, if better is available.
