Quality management of his team from the touchline by Arteta, and just look at the skill he's bought for 21m in Trossard, that's a manager that knows what he wants and how he wants to play, superb victory.

For anybody that likes to bash the bishop over stats, go and get a tissue and read Artetas Arse today v Scum, xg 2.75 v 0.40 whatever that means

Arteta has been given time & now has produced a brilliant young team to grace the Premier League.

Managers need time to develop their squads.

And Bert was given exactly how long to develop his after an unfortunate downturn in results after an injury ravaged squad ?

A few week ?

Who are we wanting tonight in the cup ?
Accrington is much nearer to travel to, not much in crowd capacities, so won't be a lot of tickets available for either ground.

Credit to the Arse board, they stuck with Arteta when he couldn't buy a win and now that faith is paying dividends. I suppose the counter to that is they could afford a ropey, no Europe season whereas most other Prem clubs don't have that luxury. They look like champions in the making.

Whichever one is least likely to be an embarrassing banana skin in the next round!!!

I agree entirely, but a year ago Arsenal fans were screaming for his scalp. Makes you think.

Don't know exactly, but it was roughly three and a half years.

It will be, if we put out a scratch team as we did at Cardiff, select a similar team as played in the replay & we'll win.

There'll be barely enough tickets for 'Away Season Ticket' holders at either venue.

A couple of my mates, who are away ST holders, have been told their tickets are guaranteed irrespective of the result.

Virtually nothing for anyone else though.

Wood !

You could go for a pre-match sharpner in the Bull and Tiger, MC...........if it's still there that is ??

Was always a 'lively' watering hole back in the late 80's/early 90's !!

Strange place BW half Arsenal and half Spurs, with the obvious consequences most weekend nights in the majority of the town's pubs.

Home to BBC Elstree - Albert Square (Eastenders) is there, used to film TOTP's there. Also, Elstree film studios was there, but closed down in the early/mid 90's (just after I moved from there) and half the site is now occupied by a big Tesco, but they did some really famous films there.

Commentator.

Talking about Southampton who are losing 1-0 . . . . .

It's this sort of cutting edge punditry that gets Sky to pay em the big bucks.

I could be a pundit. “I think a team needs to score here or it’ll be 0-0”. Quality.

Good game though. Soton a bit unlucky but then Toon never concede goals. Oh for a manager of that quality

Many of my pals will be happy, another ground to tick off their list.
