I have little enough interest in the money wins all men's form of the game so really have absolutely no interest watching the female version

Isn't the women's game more of a level playing field, financially? I don't know, I just assumed it would be.
I haven't watched any yet, but I'd like to, at least out of curiosity to see how the women play. If it gets a higher profile and gets more girls interested in sport, then that's a good thing.

Hoping for another win for the US of A, but I think the French are going to be very hard to beat on their home ground. The French put a 3-1 beating on the US just a few months ago and they looked awfully sharp against an overmatched Korean team.

Certainly. I'm not criticizing the sport, merely saying it holds no interest for me. The time needed to develop that interest is way too much at my age to reap any rewards.SaraM wrote: ↑Sat Jun 08, 2019 12:12 pm Isn't the women's game more of a level playing field, financially?
