With you on this, no one wants him back..... Would be good if we could unload him to another club and get some of our money back.

I had thought we would have wanted him to have succeeded, that way we have a sellable asset and someone permanently off the wage bill

The issue here is that he appears to have indicated that he would CONSIDER coming back to Leeds United. Although it isn't clear about the context of what he said (if he said it) it just appears to be a really arrogant thing to say it like he might just do us all a favour by returning.

Up to date he has shown nothing remotely close to suggesting that he is good enough to play even in the Championship never mind anything at a higher level. The fact that he is struggling in the Bundesliga is not really that surprising

Boo hoo for Brendan, couldn't give one f**k about him and I hope to never see him in a Leeds shirt again.

He is one of those powder puff players you always had at school ...... technically great but when anything slightly physical heading their way , they flap and try to keep the ball away from them .

He's joined that non too exclusive, and instantly forgettable Club For Ordinary Leeds United Managers to join Brian McDermott, Dave Hockaday, Darko Milanic, Uwe Rosler, Steve Evans, Garry Monk, Thomas Christiansen, Paul Heckingbottom, Javi Gracia, Sam Allarydyce, Dennis Wise, Dave Geddis etc.

What were the Owners / Leeds Board thinking?

I quite liked Monk to be honest, it was under him that the team and fans started to bond together again.

He looked like he could do a job and things were changing around him for the better it seemed to me. I don't know the circumstances but he surprisingly decided that the grass was greener elsewhere and jumped ship and then bombed into oblivion. Bizarre really so he'd perhaps go into the "could have / should have" category

From memory, the fall out with him and Radz was something to do with the length of contract on offer but I could be wrong.

No idea what he is doing these days.

:duno:

Modric, Xavi and Iniesta also happen to be uber talented players who don't fall over if blown on

Apparently unlike Adams and McKennie Aaronson was a nice hardworking lad.

Fair enough

But couldn't get out fast enough and was crap.

He might be a nice enough chap but he is talking utter rubbish and demonstrates he does not know his football. There have been plenty of players in English football that have been small in stature and physique but absolutely able to hold their own on the pitch - Billy Bremner, Gordan Strachan, Ossie Ardiles, Ngolo Kante to name but a few; Aaronson does not appear to have the ability or the skill to play in English football. He was ineffective in the Premiership and I suspect he'd sink like a stone in the Championship. He's no good in Germany either. He might be OK in some MLS team or in a minor European League. Biggest favour he could do for himself is to get a reality check

He wasn't even that impressive in Austria.

His agent leaked his release clause within 24 hours of our relegation.

Compare that to Summerville whose agents apparently advised him to stay and play regularly and be a key player, it's done him the world of good.

Whereas Aaronson and his agents chased the status of the Bundesliga and he's flopped.

Weak, poor end product, slow of mind, technically lacking, a season in the Championship in a dominant team would have done him the world of good.

But he and his people were short sighted and now Aaronson has been found out in 2 major European leagues in consecutive seasons.

Not only that his relationship with the fans here is ruined, if he doesn't see that then someone needs to tell him.

Coming back here isn't an option

Hope he starts pulling up trees in Germany and has a great rest of the season - might get a few quid for him then.
It's now a question of how big a loss we take on him. Sadly.
