Shaun Harvey
Hi
Shaun Harvey is working at Wrexham, running the club for our new owners. Ive seen a lot of negative stuff about him. Should we be worried ?
cheers.

I'd forgotten about him which is extremely pleasurable!

Re: Shaun Harvey
Be afraid be very afraid guy knows nothing about football that’s why he managed to get a job at Leeds then became Head of the EFL. Sorry there’s no good news about him been at your club, hopefully your new owners catch on quickly and get rid of him

Re: Shaun Harvey
He was employed by Master Bates. So on a positive note he knows all the loopholes and offshore companies needed to provide the philanthropic, tax evasive, who owns what type of advice needed.

Re: Shaun Harvey
Clubs Shaun Harvey has worked at;
Farsley Celtic
Scarborough
Bradford City
Leeds United
Not a single one of those hasn’t been in administration. Farsely and Scarborough went under completely. Read into that what you will.

Maybe my most hated Leeds associated person ever and we've had some appalling people with power here. Start working on your Harvey out songs now

Agree with faaip - imo the man is eligible for a personal United Nations Dangerous Goods number.
He would easily top the 'Poison' and/or 'Toxic' sections.

Re: Shaun Harvey
OK. not many positives there. He has just appointed a bloke called Les Reed as our director of football. They sacked the manager on monday and put out the retained list today. Most of the squad seems to be in place before the new manager starts.
Does he have any acolytes we should know about ?
And thanks for the feedback.

Re: Shaun Harvey
Apparently Reed was recently ‘technical director’ at the FA.
What on earth does a technical director do, anywhere?

Re: Shaun Harvey in "Welcome to Wrexham"
Anyone been watching Welcome to Wrexham?
I'm 6 episodes in (covers their 2021/22) season and it's pretty entertaining.
Only found this thread because I was googling about Shaun Harvey.
I didn't follow us much after relegation from the premier league. Couldn't watch the games here in the States, so I wasn't doing much more than glancing at the scores for a few years. Wasn't aware of Harvey until he mentioned on the show that he'd been at Bradford then Leeds. Had a feeling it wasn't a particularly successful spell with us.
Seems like he hasn't had any success at all since Bradford. I'm just taking him on his word that he was there when they went to the premier league. Reading the other stories online and the comments here, it's cringeworthy. Were Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElheny naïve to hire him?

Re: Shaun Harvey
Not at all, you'll be absolutely fine.
Re: Shaun Harvey
Was a shock to see his face watching the Wrexham documentary.
Absolute fraud of a man who shows it is possible to fail and fall up.
How is he still in football

Just watching Episode 9 of Welcome to Wrexham. Interesting scene where Rob and Ryan meet the volunteers. Of them says (paraphrasing) I'm not sure you have the right people in charge. They don't have any interest in the community. They don't have any respect for the staff.
The documentary covers last season. According to the Wrexham website, Harvey is still listed as an Advisor to the Board.
