The only two results that could really have influenced that are the Bournemouth-Wolves draw and Forest looking worse than expected (but they're already favorites for the drop). So there is something to that intuition about the relegation contenders needing to draw against each other....

All speculative but fun to track and gives me a reason to care about some of those low-profile games.
The bookies are cheeky bastards. We've all heard the stat - 8 points from 5 games gives you a 95% chance of survival. That's 5% to go down. But the bookies are still saying 14% when it comes to Leeds. How dare they.

Ah ok, a proper ref in that case.

Tis true , if every game involving potential relegation teams , of which there are 10-12, were to end in a draw (Leeds excepted) then our chances of staying up are enhanced dramatically. Disappearing points .

Can never root for Scum. But in our best interest, I'll take a draw.

Foxes have only one point from their opening five games, worse than our start last season.

Happy with that. :-D

Definitely. If not due to results, the owners aren’t going to like his criticism of their lack of investment

Leicester have won the Prem. Won the FA cup.
Played in Champions League.

All while we were away to Preston on a Tuesday night and also getting our arses kicked by Carlisle and Newport County.

Just saying.
