“Steady Rolling Man” by Deya is my fave at the moment - as available at one of the two “Houses of Trembling Madness” in York. Although I’ve just had a couple of pints of “Isaac Poad 84” at my local, which is cracking - pub and beer.

I’m up in York in a few weeks, should I head to the House of Trembling Madness for a few pints of Steady Rolling Man by Deya.

Sorry Jay, missed your response - certainly you should if you get the chance. The original House of Trembling Madness is situated on Stonegate, the bar is on the 1st floor (always busy) above a shop with a massive choice of beers and lagers.

The new one is on Lendal, less busy than the original and not as characterful but you’ve more chance of getting seat.

That's actually not a bad beer, it's not too heavy and does the trick!

Got to say I’m not a fan of the white/wheat beers (Hoegaarden/Franziskaner/Erdinger etc) at all, Overman… so tend to steer well clear.

Although, if push came to shove I would force one down if the only other alternative was a pint of Mental’s Jasmine infused Pledge concoction

I love the wheat beers, blue moon is lovely with a slice of orange.
The pledge was a play on east european beer (Polish)
