Re: Glorious Goodwood Festival Comp: Day 5, Sat 30th July (1st race 1.05pm)
Apologies young lady for my tardiness in congratulating your sublime Saturday tipping. Unfortunately, the whole internet network in our area was down until 4.40pm yesterday. I managed to get my nap on via my phone on the way to ER.becchio bear wrote: ↑Sat Jul 30, 2022 6:17 pm Oooh didn't expect that! Good Birthday was a NR thoughso I'm due another £20.00.
Big thanks for running the show and sorry Gandi for stealing your thunder but you were still in profit together with the little old man.
At least I have passed the wooden spoon from last time to Azk![]()

Anyway, very well done, that 150/1 place killed me just as I was celebrating a 25/1 winner & a 33/1 place in the same race.
You deserve a competition victory for your patience when things haven't gone well for you

Re: NAP of the Day
Are we doing an Ebor festival comp?
Just got my tickets for Juddmonte day on the 17th. Or should that be judgement day Leon. Was keen to see Baaeed in the flesh tackling 10 furlongs at lovely York.

Probably shouldn't admit this but I literally logged on at 12.55, hastily looked at the horses and picked and had them typed up in 3 minutes flat!.
Thanks everyone for your kind words
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

A bit busy for us around York.Muppet the Cat wrote: ↑Mon Aug 01, 2022 6:35 pm ...and mine, of all the places I've lived (Dunnington, a village just outside) it would be where I'd move back to in a flash![]()
So happy we moved to sleepy East Yorks after initially searching for property around York, Easingwold, Sherriff Hutton, Ripon, etc, house prices as expensive as they are in the South.
We've got the sea & rural scenary over here.
