No, Adams is not strong enough for the physicality of the PL.

Agree. I'd be right behind signing Adams. Sad that so many just think that if they're American they must be crap. US has several rising stars right now. Alphonso Davis (Canadian I know) is probably the best LB in the world right now.

BUT if Marsch get fired in October Leeds is stuck with a DM that would be average in another system. Exactly what’s happened to him at Leipzig. Great when in the Ragnick/Marsch system. Expendable otherwise.
If it was a loan with option to buy it would be perfect. Paying £20-25M for him is a leap of faith.

Can anybody give an example where 4-2-2-2 has been a success in any of the top 5 leagues? It hasn't happened because the full backs push too far forward and get exposed defensively! Ragnick couldn't make it work with the most expensive squad in world football at Man U.

Ragnick couldnt get it to work that's true.
Was it because.
1. The squad he had were so disenfranchised they weren't bothered to learn it.?
2. The system itself is awf to play?
3. An other.

I suppose we will learn soon enough. But expect teams to be getting in behind us next season on a regular basis if we go for the willy shape.
