We naturally wake up around 6am, great in the summer months. 7.30am is a lay in for us.

0530 is a lie in for me you lazy bugger

Horrible when you can't sleep, Velo

Open your windows.
Leave all your internal doors open.
Ensure you have a low tog duvets on your bed.
Use a sheet if quilt is too hot for you.
Change your bed often.
Purchase a fan if required.

A better solution - 5 or 6 pints before bedtime - never fails

Erm ! I have white legs, despite spending hours in the sun on my bike, my legs never get tanned, fk know's why, but my arms face etc are brown......work that one out

It's driving me up the wall, mate.

Weather like this is fine when you're on holiday and you've got access to a swimming pool and air conditioned rooms.

But when you live in a terraced house in the middle of a UK city, it's unbearable.

How anybody can actually enjoy these heat waves is beyond me.

Same for me, velo, normally in shorts from May to September but my legs never go much beyond slightly off white. Wife only has to show her legs to the sun and they're brown, ffs!
