Nope
Marsch OUT

Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.

Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.

It was well documented prior to Marcelo's dismissal that our players weren't happy, probably the main reason why Radz & co reacted by sacking Bielsa knowing that you can't acquire the necessary points for survival with a dejected squad.

I've only skim read it as the mutts pecking my heed to go out, so no bombs, but what i can gather...

Did you feel any more pressure replacing Marcelo Bielsa?

" No, I have done this a lot where I have come after good managers and popular managers "......has he been sacked a lot?

" I was watching a video on the bus "..." But then when I got off the bus "..........He travels by bus ? Why?

" It is a stark contrast to Germany. In Germany, I came from a place that is pretty cold " ... It's warmer in Yorkshire ?

" But I talk about the everyday life of living on the street,"........Has he lived like a tramp?

I feel he's left himself wide open there, but i appreciate his honesty, like i said i know nowt about the fella previously, but i'm painting a picture

All that money on his education anorl

Listening to JM it does sound like the players gave up to me abit. If you are not getting results and in some cases getting hammered then long intense days of the same things over and over again would drive most people mad in training.

First part of his job near done. Tick! It will be interesting how it pans out going forward. We have all been there when a new boss comes in and make freinds with everyone, it goes well for a few week before people start to take liberties and then standards start to slip and before you know it evryone is stabbing him in the back.

I'll be honest here Dog, it's my dream he one day comes back, and the only way that can happen is....

A. I get enough money together to buy out Radz and the 49 swingers club.

B. Some Arabs are reading this thread and i persuade them i'm right - and they have more money than the swingers.

Decent article about Marsch. A fair few positives especially learning from what went wrong which is a good thing in my opinion. Interesting that at NYRB the players said he got them fitter than they'd ever been.

Good reading but proof will be in the results, especially if we are in the PL next season, the naysayers amongst us will be waiting with knives sharpened.

Interesting piece Weasel, thanks for posting. Seems like he was a hard man, a fighter, and a prodigious collector of yellow cards in his playing days but also he’s said to be a winner. I hope so anyway.

By killing off murderball, Jesse has given Leeds a Premier League lifeline.

I wonder if the training sessions might've eased off the better players he had, i mean what must he have thought when he first arrived ?

Penny for your thoughts Bert......

'wtf am i gonna do with these :duno: , probably best to sort the wheat from the chaff first  , see what i have left, then make em bust a gut like we have 15 men on the pitch, there's nowt else to do with most until i can get some money together'

' now who's no use to me that i might get some money for :duno: h'mmm - Viera, young Jack, Roofe, Jansson, BPF!, '

' that'll have to do for now, or i'll be left with fck all....right let's get these pricks trained up and see which ones have half a brain'

' Jeez i've just looked outside in that skip, and there's 27 players in there that the Clown brought here'

'ahh well i'll get rid of him as well asap but i'll have to knuckle down, too much on my plate, bigger job than i thought this '

Simple factor is that after 3 years of Bielsa the players were fucked and anyone with a brain can see that. Running stats are down this year and we failed to keep with the man. The squad was too small to train at that intensity again. I don’t see what is wrong with what Jesse has said. Some fans just don’t see any issues with Marcelo at all looking through rose tinted glasses. Marcelo did an amazing job we played some beautiful football but this season he was responsible for his own downfall. Player recruitment was s**t and then refused players in January. Premier league is a squad game and we had no squad.

When I think of all the Leed fans who got annoyed at Karen Carney's assessment of the Bielsa burnout.

And now say the Leeds players were burned out.

I tend to agree with John Giles assessment that Marsch was showing off and unprofessional in criticising a former manager.

Nothing wrong with what he said at all, he's just saying how it is. Marsch is also susceptible to criticism, it's part of the game and that's why they get paid so much.
