Some great goals by the kids there, and that 40 yarder by Archie was an excellent strike. Shame about the quality of the videos in those last two goals!

Looking like, as per the senior team, a couple or three more wins should see them safe in the top U23 division.

Manure one of the form teams too in that division.

Archie Gray looks a real prospect.
Mind you he couldn't really fail with those family genes

U23s lost away to Chelsea today.

0-1
Marsch OUT

Football has undergone a process of bielsification; pressing and possessing, passing rather than dribbling, intercepting high up the field rather than making last-ditch tackles, are in vogue.

Marcelo Bielsa. The light that will never go out.

When I was just a little boy,
I asked my mother what should I be,
Should I be Chelsea,
Should I be Leeds,
Here's what she said to me;

Wash yer mouth out son,
And go and get your fathers gun,
And shoot the Chelsea scum,
Shoot the Chelsea scum,
We hate Chelsea,
We hate Chelsea,
We hate Chelsea...

Surely he has a future with us? I mean, if Rapha goes, he could be the ready made replacement (could do with bulking up a bit though). I have a bad feeling Summerville will be off this summer and we'll rue that decision in a year or two time. U23 is too easy for him now (whether he's PL standard or not).

He impressed under Bielsa, I’d have been frustrated if I were him not getting more of a chance. But he’s got his head down, cracked on and impressed for the U23s. Got to be hoping for some more game time before the end of the season.

Hasn't JM made him a 1st team squad player permanently ? Again, needs a few English breakfasts down him...with chips ! Well maybe not but you know what I mean.
