Sounds like he has the Kalvin and Forshaw double pivot in mind, if his comments are anything to go by regarding KP.

I'm still in mourning, but i'm slowly coming round to him.

Don't want to say why just yet, and he'll still get full bore.

But these returning players will 100% keep us up, of that i've absolutely no doubt at all,
Injuries to Rodrigo etc are easily taken care of it's not a problem, i hope he goes back to Phillips on his own after the break and 4 in front of him, we're a full force with that.

We're staying up guys!

Totally Agree there nothing not to like about him, he seems honest and straight forward. Like you i also hope he can do a great job at Elland Road for me if he saves us from the drop that would be a huge ask and if he does manage that then hopefully whoever we have as an owner will support him with the players HE wants.

Aye, seems like that, whatever it takes to get us over the line and still in the PL again next season, my worry is we won't have money to strengthen without selling !! Have to leave that till another day now.

Also hope JM don't put LC & KP back in too soon, would hate to see either break down again, including PB, start with team against Norwich and play a tight match to begin with, if we need to introduce, hope he don't do all 3 subs at once.

As Leon & Scooby say, Jesse talks a good game and is very likeable. I hope he gets the results he and we need and keeps us up.

Come the summer there will be much upheaval, he will be able to reset the squad to better suit his vision and start the new campaign running. I hope we still have Kalvin and Meslier come Christmas but I think Rapha will be gone to fund the restructuring.

Similar thoughts to yours. He does talk a good game but the real judgement will be on the pitch. B*llshit merchants always have the patter. Only thing I don't like is the continual self praising, guess it is more of an american thing though.

This bit was very odd though -

Through your head when Gelhardt scored?

Immediate jubilation because the moment is tense. Focus was what to do, as soon as we conceded we ask how we affect the game now, One more sub. Joffy. Jubilation and then assess to what we have, our options, adjust the formation to protect ourselves. Gotten better at that with more experience. Younger manager would be celebrating and thinking about the lead.

Praising yourself for defending the lead for the 2 minutes left after we scored seems farcical especially given it needed Messlier saving with his face from a point blank shot during that time.

Time will tell whether he can do more than talk a good game - hopefully he can because if he does then hopefully the style of football will be good and the young players will get the chance to come through.

Out of the three games so far with Marsch in charge 2 have been ok to good and one has been diabolical. We should have beaten Leicester and were unlucky to lose, we beat Norwich but it really should have been a lot less close than it turned out to be in the end. I’m not sure how/why we played so badly against Villa, I don’t believe they are that much better than Leicester are they? Hopefully we can put that down to an anomaly and presume that the other two performances will be more like the norm under Marsch. Early days yet and tonight’s game against Wolves might enlighten us more - I hope it’s going to be less like the Villa performance and more like the Leicester one (but with a different result of course).

He looked as bewildered as the rest of us watching the game. You can't script that sort of game it all goes out of the window in that fee for all. Wolves looked lost without a man up top.

This is the best outcome for Leeds re Jesse, coz he'll never get us playing football as long as he's got that hole in his arse.

The players just get us over the line to survive with their desire this year and Jesse's luck.

Then, we write next season off, why? Because we need Jesse to lose his first 7 matches and get sacked, thus bringing in some other poor b@stard that might possibly (doubt it) bring this group of crap that the Monkey bought to play together as a team (   )
Oh! and to bring the youth on.

He'll have to be fcking good though coz we'll be in another relegation battle, and another 'oh!' we'll need to spend gazillions now Bert's gone.

Good luck with all that, you heard it here first.

It's gonna be gripping.

Still hard to judge JM yet. Seemed a very Bielsa like match with us missing great chances to go in front, then conceding and seeming to lose confidence. Then the belief and determination to get back into the match and never giving in. Similar to the MU game only we missed the chance to go 3-2 up and they punished us.

Seems like the players are enjoying things though which is a good sign. Whether JM can instill his own way of playing and have success with it and with these players only time will tell. Impossible really to judge properly until next season when he will have had time to instill his methods and bring in some players. Hopefully we will still be a premier league side.

Think it is a bit harsh to judge him in terms of the football he is trying to make us play Kenny as he isn't Bielsa and these players are so used to playing the Bielsa way that anything else will initially look disjointed at times until JM has had a decent amount of time to instilll his way of playing and being able to see who can play like he wants them to. Some of these players might not be as good under his way as they wer eunder Bielsa, it isn't a negative on them, Bielsa or JM just the way it is. Throw Bielsa into a team midway through the season and they wouldn't be able to play his way straightaway - just look at how hard it has been for Ralf at MU trying to change a way of playing midway through a season.
