Re: Pascal Struijk
How immense was Pascal today?
So pleased to see Struijk back
Thought he was brilliant.
Pascal Struijk was phenomenal for Leeds this afternoon. No player won more tackles (5/5) than him today and he made the most ball recoveries (15), won the most defensive aerial duels (4) and made the most blocks (2) of any other player involved.

Re: Pascal Struijk
Today he showed his maturity, since his first game I've liked this kid, MB has a loyalty to the promotion pack, rightly or wrongly, for me, he's wrong to stick by so many for too long, today Pascal was immense, a giant amongst giants, he had a 6'4" 14 stone on form Antonio in his back pocket, if we lose this kid it will show our ambition (no reason to think we will, but putting others when fit back may concern) Pascal is also adaptable, which MB likes, but for me, this is his position, Leo and Pascal could well be our future for many years to come, imagine that with Cresswell, Llorente and Koch, the futures bright.

Oh Pascal, where art thou ??
Re: Pascal Struijk
He gives us presence. How has he not been mentioned?
Re: Pascal Struijk
Pascal was only on the pitch for the last ten minutes, spent two of those minutes sprawled out on the ground which looked like the physio's were checking his neck or concussion
Re: Pascal Struijk
Certainly hope he's at Leeds next season.

Re: Pascal Struijk
hes been pretty consistent when he's played and if that goal ends up keeping us up then he'll go down with dom Mateo and Jermaine beckford in United folklore

Re: Pascal Struijk
Would have preferred to see him grabbing the ball out of the net and getting the game kicked off again quickly so we could try to get the win rather than waste time celebrating. Ultimately whilst good to salvage a point we needed every second to be going for all 3, 1 may prove not enough.

Re: Pascal Struijk
Like the Norwich game, we nearly conceded after we scored at the death.
In Pascal cresswell and hjelde we have a good future.

Re: Pascal Struijk
We did. The f*cking idiots need to keep their focus instead of acting like they have won the cup final. Both matches unneccesarily over the top celebrations, one of which resulted in an injury andwouldn't be suprised if someone didn't get injured on Sunday too. Norwich we should have got back in shape kept focus and kept it calm, Brighton we should have been getting the ball out of the net and saying we want 3 points instead of over the top celebrations for 1, 1 may not be enough.mentalcase wrote: ↑Mon May 16, 2022 7:23 pm Like the Norwich game, we nearly conceded after we scored at the death.
