I thought Bielsa said Bamford was okay in his press conference 64?

Given our lack of success in games in London generally and our depleted squad I think it's feasible to expect a defeat.....
But, you never know!

Not normal at all Chapel, and they all seem to be long term as well, not just a week or two out. There has to be a reason.....and NOT bad luck!CHAPELALLMAN wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 6:23 pm There's just now way that all these injuries are normal - Gelhardt out now for a month.

I don't think he meant it do you? He obviously let his emotions get the better of him. Obviously I was very restrained when he scored the equaliser in the 92nd minute!

Rumour doing the rounds that Bamford has injured his quad, not sure how reliable. Team reumours suggesting;
Meslier - Ayling, Llorente, Hjelde, Firpo - Koch, Bate, Klich, James, Harrison - Greenwood

That's the team I posted up earlier.YorkshireSquare wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 11:20 pm Rumour doing the rounds that Bamford has injured his quad, not sure how reliable. Team reumours suggesting;

If that is the case, we haven't got one fit striker out of four

Obviously not. But sorry MW, he really shouldn't have reacted the way he did. The medical staff who spent time repairing his original injury, (not to mention the cost ) the board paying his wages, (not to mention the cost ) the supporters paying his wages (not to mention the cost). He was an absolute T**t! He is supposed to be the most intelligent player at the club. How many games has he missed due to that celebration? How many points has he cost us by not being available?MightyWhites wrote: ↑Sat Jan 08, 2022 11:01 pm I don't think he meant it do you? He obviously let his emotions get the better of him. We'll get butched mate, and probably would have done against any team, but at least we're spared the embarrassment of Crawley, Newport, etc,

I understand your frustration Swannie, especially when the injury was self-inflicted and unnecessary.
But in Paddy's defence, he had been out for two months, playing in front of a packed ER and scored the equalizer at the death.
In those circumstances I would strip off naked and then dive into the crowd and take whatever injury ensued

Gelhardt and Paddy getting injured when we\re short of strikers anyway is a right kick in the knackers.
With the limited options available I would go with:
Meslier (from what I gather Klaesson is still miles off it, so better hope Mes stays fit)
Ayling
Llorente
Koch
Firpo
Forshaw
Bate
Klich
Summerville
Greenwood
James
Knowing MB he'll probably stick James at CF.
