Because........Victor Ortiz .
So already chasing the under 23's again , shame he doesn't put that energy and time in getting people where required . Going to be the same old same old transfer window isn't it ?
In Bielsa we trust .....in Orta we do not 🤔

Signing Fernandez almost certainly means Greenwood will be going out on loan then.

Love this signing if true, more great work from Orta et al..
Footwork looks top class, looks strong, is taller than most our squad and excellent balance and vision.

A fantastic prospect, if we use him, greenwood mustn't be rated as highly, or, he's going out on loan as I thought.
Could be to replace JG who is hopefully going to feature more in first team.

Would imagine the club see him as being closer to the first team than Greenwood so see him as back up and also able to ease him in with the U23s and allows Greenwood to go on loan.

Window has just opened. This kid is clearly highly sought after. Why delay in signing a youngster. This does not mean there are no attempts to get a senior player in.

Since when has building for the future been wrong. I wish there was some succession planning where I work.

Those YT videos are not a reflection on a players ability - remember Jay Roy Grot. He looks like the next Van Nistleroy ( I know it is spelt wrong) in his best bits.

I am not suggesting he is not quality but a best bits montage can be very misleading.

We’ve apparently stolen this kid from under the noses of Man City & Barca. Let’s hope he’s the successor to Haaland except that we got him this time.

This signing should mean Joffy is a permanent first team option going forward.

It depends on what your looking for, I'm looking at basic technique, the way a player moves, foot speed, balance etc. No interest in finishing or flashy plays.

I was the one to post the Gallagher tape as I liked what I saw, don't think I've done that before... or if I have it's very rare

Palace have lost their last two games without the injured Gallagher & suspended Zaha. McArthur is also injured.

Even worse news for Palace, they have four players away on African Cup duty, unlikely to return until the 9th February.

Doesn't take much to wreck the balance of any side, even the top 4 aren't immune. Liverpool might struggle to catch up with City without Salah and Mane ...

Let's not forget: we have Mateo Joseph Fernandez

Post by Victor_OTT_17 »

Some say a wonderkid: https://www.planetfootball.com/quick-re ... ca-linked-

Developed a lot according to JM: https://www.leeds-live.co.uk/sport/leed ... h-24783534

If he's that good surely he's worth being benched soon right?

He cant be ready, just like the new kid.

He is very lightweight and also wont have the stamina to play any more than a very limited bit part

Let's not forget Joseph is only 19yo & he's playing in the U21 Premier League Division Two

I doubt Joseph will get minutes in our cup games unless we are are in dire straits with our main forwards.

I maybe wrong!

No Premier League club should be relying on teenagers to score there goals.
