Chelsea arent winning the title based on that.

The press are trying to build up this 3 horse title race but City and Liverpool are next level to them.

Missed most of the match through work. Joined the action on 75 mins to see Leeds surprisingly ony 2-1 down and fighting to get level. Good to see Tyler terrorising the Chelsea defence and the cross for Gelhardt to make it 2-2. Thought a draw was brilliant but then the penalty and a defeat.

I'm lost for words at what might have been.

Just watched match of the day. Speechless. So much good stuff from our boys. I did think Dallas was fouled for their first, Rapha was unlucky with the pen, but Klich was an absolute idiot. ..... 'Nuff said.

It was red all day, everyday. He was off the ground, completely out of control and could easily have really hurt Dan if he hadn’t leapt off the ground in time.

Sadly, it needed Dan to roll around for a couple of minutes crying like a Chelsea baby to ensure that a red card was produced. We don’t do that. Are we too naive, like some reports are saying?

I suggest you watch the build-up to the Gelhardt goal, and see the involvement that Klich had on that.

Such a frustrating set of goals. Just seen Mainz’s goal against Bayern - trying to create from the penalty area. A carbon copy of Chelsea’s equaliser. So many times today I just willed the defence to put the boot through the ball and send it upfield.

What are you talking about listing the cull of players. Idiotic rubbish. What are we going to replace them with when we haven’t got 300 million to spend.

We play like that week in week out we are going to be fine.
Good post - I agree

Was for me mate, should've walked. Klich was daft with that challenge, but tbh that penalty is soft as s**t and shouldn't have been given.

We need to do what the other 19 teams do, Rudiger got his team two penalties with his rolling around and that won them the match.

Enough with the fair play, chivalrous bollocks cos nobody else does it.

We all thought, chelsea included, it ought to have been a draw.
Flaming furious with klich for that stupid challenge, correct nothing in it, outside box it was a play on challenge, wtf was he thinking of ??
Other penalties were so-so, some given, some not.
Just shows once again what happens when you put a CF in a CF position.
Good to have an impact sub I suppose, also reckon thats where MB will keep for a while, till bamford comes back, then who knows, probably bombed out again.
Thought the ref was a complete twat, couldn't wait to book a DIRTY LEEDS player, while james stayed on the pitch !!
Keep saying this, but, we don't know enough of the dark arts, look at the shackleton booking, no contact, then when he's booked their player shakes shackletons hand !!!! should have shook his throat shackleton, he got you booked son. Also the klich booking, really !!!
Mind you, suppose MB will be proud to have another fair play trophy in the cabinet.
At last, my mate is ready , back on it  :beers: :beers:
Sithi.
Agree mate, a proud performance, but nowt to show for it.

We need to get in the habit of doing what the other 19 teams do, all day, every day.

I'm not bothered about that fair play shite.

Reece James should have walked and he probably would if our James rolls round squealing for five minutes, like that fookin Rudiger did anytime anyone went near him.

It's how these teams are mate, and the sooner we wise up to that the better.

Citeh, LiVARpool, Wolves, Burnley, etc, they're all hounding the ref and cheating all day. Look at that scruffy tramp Klopp when he got Struijk sent off.

We need to do it too. If Dan James rolled around like a stuck pig 🐷 then the ref n var would've sent Reece James off.

Don't count on the officials and opposition being fair and just, because we are, they are not and they're not gonna be.

We have all these multimillion/billionaire owners, so it's time they stuck their mitts in their pockets.

When Bielsa is doing his pressers he's continually speaking about the evolution and progression of injuries.

I hope him and his management colleagues and the owners are planning the evolution of our first team squad and the progression of our club.

If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;

Oh the bitterness of defeat, a cruel defeat when we were so near to snatching a victory from the jaws of defeat.

How does the psyche deal with and ending so unjust. The game itself was full of passion and emotion, and at the end when the game was over the emotions spilled over into a small fracas which perfectly summed up the feelings of the fans that justice had not been done.

Theirs not to make reply,
Theirs not to reason why,
Theirs but to do and die.
Into the valley of Death
Rode the six hundred.

It is strange but some defeats are rembered more than victories. Eleven Victoria Crosses were awarded to the defenders of Rorke's Drift, three hundred Spartans stood against the might of Persian army, the evacuation of Dunkirk.

You might say to compare these events to a game of football is ludicrous, but the drama and excitement. of those 90 minutes encapsulates the feel of battle. The defiant singing of Marching on together at the end of the game is equivilent to the Welsh soldiers singing Men of Harlech.

Cymru fo am byth
From the rocks rebounding
Let the war cry sounding
Summon all at Cambria's call

Marching on together is no less a battle cry and we join the battle vicariously, though this time in defeat. Our team at the moment may be a ragged bunch of misplaced ruffians, some of them even dispised for their actions, but one has to remember that their faults have to be tempered with their heroics... and herein lies the drama and the story... the maneuvers... the battle that is a game of football.

Chavski, Liverpool, Scum and Man City all got dodgy penalties to help them win. It would be comical if it wasn't so bent and predictable.
