The game doesn't give you formation options.

Click on the Pick Team tab.

Click on a player and then click switch and you can then switch with a player from your bench.

If you click on a bench player you can switch his position on the bench with another player.

If one of your 11 misses out that week the game will auto switch the player in bench position 1 into your 11 as a replacement,

Just try playing around with it, but don't click Save Your Team until you're ready.

You can switch players up until the first match of that game week.

Lumiukko wrote: Mon Aug 23, 2021 5:22 pm In the pick team, you substitute the players in and out to create the formation (use the arrows in the corner of the players avatar). The software will guide you if you try to make an "illegal" formation. But essentially you need a minimum of 3 defenders and a keeper to start...from there it is quite simple to move players around. The formations are more old school, so things like 3-5-2, or 4-4-2, 4-4-3, 4-5-1 are allowed, but nothing funky like 4-1-4-1 such as MB employs.

To change the bench order, just use the arrows in the corners to change their priority in coming on should the player in the first XI not play in the whole 90 minutes. It will auto pick the player based on the legality of the formation you employed (sometimes changing the formation to suit the players available). So in a 3-5-2, if one of your defenders doesn't play, then it will pick the first defender on the bench as there must be 3 defenders. However, in a 4-4-2 and one of your defenders does not play, if you have a midfielder as the first sub, they will be auto picked instead and the formation changed to a 3-5-2. It's an important strategy to think how this may play out in a game. Sounds complicated but is easy once you're used to it.

Last point is, make sure your captain and vice captain are always in your starting XI. You can change the captain and vice captain each week.
Thank you Lumi

Ok Leon,

Once you get used to navigating the system it's pretty straightforward.

So far it's been a disastrous start for me :?

There's not much point in reproducing the table here...unless you are mapping FPL names to forum names?

Actually it is, everyone in that league is from here I'm fairly sure and I have mapped the user names. It can be discussed here then.

Fofana is out injured long term. So the good news is he didn't concede, but you need to transfer him out, because he won't be playing for a long time.

Injured/suspended players have a little red exclamation mark in the right hand corner of their image. If you click on them it tells you how long they are out for.

I think he was sick at the weekend, if he gets in he may shore up their defence, but Arsenal are a mess tbh mate.

White is on my bench now.

Gooners play the baggies in the EFL Cup match tonight.

Arsenal beat them 0-5 at The Hawthorns in the PL last season.

You wouldn't bet on that scoreline tonight.
