Denmark worked Wales out and didn’t give them a whiff of that game. Fine team and when you consider that they did this to Russia as well, it’s not a flash in the pan. Now a serious challenger in this competition.
Wales ended up so ragged and lost their heads way too easily. Really petulant kick by Wilson who deserved his red. Bale could have joined him for his sarcastic clapping of the ref.
When the Danes scored their first goal our commentator remarked how pleased he was for the scorer. He's had Covid twice but worst of all he had his $80,000 watch stolen by a teammate.

Easily the best British player in the 2010s, 4 Champions League medals, a few player of the year awards before he moved to Real etc.
But wouldn't surprise me if he retires soon. While he still gives it all for Wales and has to be admitted that he's fallen a long way off his best at club level.

When Wales bring on a striker they hadn’t trusted in 3 games and 75 minutes, with 13 minutes left to save their tournament , 2 goals down to a superior team and tactically bereft, only one word springs to mind - desperation.
