And Holland ofcourse!Boo Radley wrote:What a chance England have now to make the final! That side of the knockout rounds is a walk in the park compared to the other containing Italy, Belgium, Portugal, France!
All you have to do is beat a poor German team and it’s a clear run.

Also Croatia and Spain on the other side of the draw, what a difference.

England get lucky again in the draw as they always do.Boo Radley wrote: ↑Wed Jun 23, 2021 9:14 pm What a chance England have now to make the final! That side of the knockout rounds is a walk in the park compared to the other containing Italy, Belgium, Portugal, France!

They'll still screw up!
Class prevails in the end.

don't think the actions of a government in power necessarily reflect the majority views of the population...

Yep, I agree. All of the big guns have had major lapses in performance too, so it's not just England that's capable of shite performances.Boo Radley wrote: ↑Wed Jun 23, 2021 9:14 pm What a chance England have now to make the final! Germany struggled to break down a very fired up Hungary last night, struggled against a lazy France side too, so they are beatable. Depends which England turns up, Southgate has as much passion as a wet lettuce.

That's gonna the next one mate, and if you don't show the limp wrist you'll be accused of being homophobic. I'm bored to death hearing about this taking the knee
Rather we concentrated on footy, if players and coaches wanna yak all day about inequality then they can use the press conferences for that, I'm sure all the journos will love it.

Apologies Dutch Peacock, no disrespect intended! You have a decent team but I just think you don’t have the capability of winning through in this tournament. You could be challenging by the next Euro’s though.Dutch Peacock wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 6:30 am And Holland ofcourse!

Watch this space now for a miraculous run to the title by the Netherlands!!

Today's Games
No we won’t win it ofcourse. We got very lucky with the easy poule and lucky again with the draws for the KO rounds. Semi final should be possible now, beat Czech republic and after that Denmark or Wales.Boo Radley wrote:

You need luck to win any tournament. And while it should be England or Germany that will win through from that side of the draw, anyone on that side must see the same chance, including Netherlands, Wales or Denmark who have all had decent performances.Dutch Peacock wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 12:40 pm No we won’t win it ofcourse. Sure do Boo - it was the bit about beating a poor Germany team that rang a few alarm bells.Boo Radley wrote: ↑Wed Jun 23, 2021 11:06 pm Do you not agree about England being on the easier side of the draw Carrick?

I know it’s always dangerous to classify any German team as poor, but relatively speaking, they are the weakest German team in a very long time.Carrick Dave wrote: ↑Thu Jun 24, 2021 4:22 pm Sure do Boo - it was the bit about beating a poor Germany team that rang a few alarm bells.![]()
Other teams in that side of the draw will see a great chance as well of making a final, e.g. Holland and Denmark. They could have imagined tougher teams in their way.

Certainly was WR. They look the better team and nothing seems to be going Wales way. Ramsey and Bale completely tied up so far. Denmark will need a second to put it beyond Wales.

Chaos in the Wales defence, Var check, and 2-0 to Denmark.Boo Radley wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 4:51 pm Certainly was WR. They look the better team and nothing seems to be going Wales way. Ramsey and Bale completely tied up so far. Denmark will need a second to put it beyond Wales.
Wales still have a chance though, cos Tyro wil come on and get a hat trick.

Re: Today's Games
Some poor decisions against Wales.
Danes first goal was scored by s guy whose arm was offside in the build up, a la Bamford v Palace.
Foul by the Danes in the build up to the second and the ball also seemed to go out of play too.
