And he was brilliant against LeicesterSmudge3920 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 02, 2021 9:43 am Good news...you know I forget Pascal is only 21... the future really is looking bright ...
Excited to see how far he can go
Re: Pascal Struijk
Our only young player from the academy who will establish a regular place in the first team this season, well until Koch & Llorente are fit to play again,
Re: Pascal Struijk
Well done Pascal! He has all the attributes to go far in the game.
Could we be looking at having 4 international CBs by season's end?

Re: Pascal Struijk
Been watching that pass again to Rafinha which then led to Bamfords goal. Quick thinking by our young defender.
Re: Pascal Struijk
According to AS in Spain, he's the "New Pique" and there's a tug of war between Netherlands and Belgium over him. Bielsa at it again, making stars not buying them.

Re: Pascal Struijk
He's coming on leaps and bounds. For a while, it was just confidence. He was brilliant v Leicester and played with a lot of swagger today. Nice to see him hitting those passes with confidence

Re: Pascal Struijk
Brilliant header. That will grow his confidence. Better defender than midfielder but had a decent 2nd half today at least

Klich revealed after the game that Struijk came off injured on Saturday.
It's since been revealed that he is a doubt for the next game.

Re: Pascal Struijk
Freaky how our many of our injuries are occurring to all our CB's/DM's
Koch & Llorente missed the majority of this season, Cooper missed several games.
Phillips missed several, Shacks & Klich who have helped out in a deeper role have incurred injuries.
And now Struijk is injured & doubtful for our next game
Berardi just back in training after missing the whole of this season
And Forshaw never got off his sickbed
On the attacking front Rodrigo has missed many games

Bad luck and no pre-season are the main causes

Re: Pascal Struijk
Really only Bamford, Dallas, Ayling and Harrison from our first 11 have been available all season

Re: Pascal Struijk
Not sure how they've got to their total but Sky sports yesterday morning put up a table of the number of games missed by players, we came in 3rd with 122 games, behind Palace and Liverpool. Not sure if this is based on squad or perceived first 11 or 16.
