Good performance against a team who have been building over the last 100 years in the PL. Only saw 80mins
Meslier 7: A couple of good saves at the end, distribution decent overall. Could he have taken charge on the first goal? Poor defending let him down.
Ayling 7: All our best attacks seemed to go down the right. We also got exposed alot down the right when the attack broke down. Not Aylings fault that's how we play.
Struijk 7.5: Despite the lapse in marking for their second goal i thought he had a good game again today. Good use of the ball, ran into space when he could.
Cooper 6.5: Not sure what happened for their first goal everyone seemed to go into slow motion mode. Some decent passing but we were back to looking really venerable again from set-pieces.
Alioski 6: Can't really remember too much from Alio in the game either way. (Edit) How could i forget is sublime volley..Doh
Phillips 7: Worked hard but didn't control the game like in our first meeting. Aggressive when needed.
Raphinha 8.5: He is at the heart of everything we do at the minute. He is the only player who looks like scoring everytime he gets a chance. What did we do without him?
Dallas 6: Poor first half from my perspective, not involved enough, improved massively 2nd half.
Klich 6.5: A few petty free kick givaways early on in the game, but got better has the game got going. Should have done better when he found himself in the box. I think he must be carrying a slight injury.
Harrison 6: I thought he had a quiet first half along with Dallas but got stronger in the second half.
Bamford 6: Worked his socks off, some decent link up play but can't remember too many clear cut chances falling his way. Everton were strong in defence. You would expect that with a Itailian coach.

Meslier...7 Caught the ball well, all game, distribution solid, excellent save (Pablo owes him dinner)...Could be argued he had some fault in the 1st goal, but I think it would be unfair to lay the blame on any one man, bit of a defensive cluster( imo)
Ayling...7 Apart from being caught out of position for the first goal, a good solid game, links really well with Raph down that left side.
Struijk...7.5 Started on the right side of Coops, which I think makes him a little weaker not as adapt as Coops at changing feet, but rectified in 2nd half when they switched. Another solid performance, very unlucky not to score one of Olson's many excellent saves in the game.
Cooper7... Cool and reliable, solid game.
Alioski...7 Much more confident last couple of games, very unlucky with an amazing volley not to score.
Phillips...8 Yet another solid performance, showed his calmness on more than one occasion.
Raphinha...8.5 (MotM) Well on his way to player of the year, even for this team he seems a pace ahead of the rest. Love the way he picks his spots for goal.
Dallas...8 What can you say...Mr. Versitility.
Klich...6.5 Stll looking tired (IMO) cannot be lack of rest. Sure we will see the old stalwart back to his best soon.
Harrison...6.5 Bit of an erratic performance tonight (IMO). Lots of effort (maybe to much thinking?)
Bamford...6.5 Showed all the effort he usually does, really lacking that first touch today.

Roberts...7 Added to the overall team effort when he came on.
Hernandez N/A So hard to critises the legend, but the lack of playing time is now really showing in his cameo appearances. As I said above he owes Meslier dinner.
Costa N/A Much better bench appearance than previous game.
Meslier 7
Easy game for him. Could not do much in both goals.
Ayling 7
Great attitude. Needs to be more precise attacking.
Struijk 7
Overall good game. Apart from the first goal
Cooper 6
Same that Struijk.
Alioski 7
Good attitude. Solid in defence but no appearing much in attack. Is one of the players that looks tired.
Phillips 7
Good match for him but not great
Raphinha 9
Best on the pitch, including Everton. The work that he has done not only attacking but defending was great.
Dallas 8
He is the heart of the team. Plays great in every position.
Klich 5
He looks tired. Mediocre game for him.
Harrison 6
Good job in defense. Not so much in attack where the team needs him.
Bamford 6
Good in the associative part of being a striker, but he was not decisive when the team needed him.

Struijk 7 (poor positional play for 1st goal which as spare man he could have stopped. Said a few weeks ago he wasn't a midfielder and his Centre Back play recently has shown this to be correct)

I get it that a few on here don't like 'League one liam' but the continued blame of him for every goal we concede is unfair. He wins the majority of his headers and tackles yet if he makes one mistake he is pilloried on here and in the blogs. His blocks against Leicester helped seal a win and his one on one last night saved another certain goal. Give him a bit of credit.
Meslier - 7 - Good gane in the main, apart form the goals he had little to do
Ayling - 7.5 - Typical wing backs performance, great going forward and dodgy in defence
Struijk - 7 - Solid, there's a couple of things I've noticed but that will come with time
Cooper - 7.5 - Good game I thought especially on the ball, the trick to beat his man was fun..
Alioski - 6.5 - Quiet game I thought. I wasn't paying him much attention though so that may not be a bad thing
Phillips - 8.5 - Vintage Kalvin for me, both on and off the ball
Raphinha - 9 - Outstanding again, if we can keep and build round him we'll be threatening the top 6 next season.
Dallas - 7 - Little bit chaotic and erratic I thought, not his best game
Klich - 7.5 - Typical Klich, 75% of what he does goes unnoticed as usual but some lovely passing and some really clever runs not taken up..
Harrison - 6.5 - Like Alio a little bit missing but that maybe because we didn't play much down the left.

Roberts - 7 - One delicious pass late, good first touch in the main some good movement. Still don't think he's a forward mid and needs more game time. Reminds me a bit of Jimmy Floyd, think he has that potential.
Hernandez - 6 These cameos are doing him no favours..
Costa - 6.5 - That was a sweet cross late, thought he flashed and actually looked more comfortable down the left
Team performance - 8 - Dominated the game for the most part, forced a supposedly superior team to shut down. Moral victory
