As I said earlier...any given team on any given day in this league can win... just have to keep the faith...

They were so afraid of what we might do to them that they were hyped up like maniacs when they faced us. Tonight they thought they only had to show up, tip the ball around and head off with three points. Good enough of them

Just having better players wont win titles.

Re: Today's Games
Leicester and Everton played some decent football tonight. Leicester have good ball players all over the pitch but look surprisingly jittery at times at the back. Maddison did a Grealish all evening diving everywhere - another quality player whose instincts are to cheat.
They are just the type of team that can hurt us if/when they break our man marking - a big worry for Sunday.
Ndidi went off injured just before halftime. It would be a great bonus if he wasn’t available on Sunday. Probably wasn’t that bad an injury - but we live in hope!

Re: Today's Games
I'll be really surprised if we get anything on Sunday Boo, the top six seem to have too much in their armour for us to cope with. Problem is we only have less than half the first XI showing their top form which makes it very difficult to win football matches at this level. We managed a victory at Newcastle just, because they are so poor!Boo Radley wrote: ↑Wed Jan 27, 2021 11:24 pm Leicester and Everton played some decent football tonight. Re: Today's Games
That sums up our challenge at the moment ‘64. We really need to fire on all cylinders and get our zip back in passing and movement. I don’t think this is a game we’ll get anything out of either. Palace and Wolves have to be our targets over the next number of games - maybe a point of Everton.1964white wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 7:18 am I'll be really surprised if we get anything on Sunday Boo, the top six seem to have too much in their armour for us to cope with. Will he start scoring goals as an attacking midfielder should do, Smudge?Smudge3920 wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 8:43 am Oh yea of little faith ...Klich is going to make you two eat those words...he does not like being dropped he loves the challenge...

So I wonder how Liddypool will approach the game today having only scored one goal in their last 5 games 0 in their last 4

Re: Today's Games
mmm Prem league pundits not happy Henderson not starting in favour of Alcantara...despite Alcantara's skill and ability, they say he doesnt bring as much to the team as Henderson , as Hendo is a leader and pulls the team together ...

Re: Today's Games
We all feel the injuries of Koch & Llorente and dream of the day we can play them together...Spurs have been so lucky re injuries, can you imagine if they lost Kane & Son for half a dozen games ...how well would they fair?
