I have a soft spot for Foxtrot and Selling England maybe a couple of others and 5 Bridges gets a bit of play here. Latterly it's Porcupine Tree but it's not a genre I have a great love for

Just an album I think 64...It just edges Dead Elvis for me as their best work. Scorpio Rising and Satan's Circus are a slight drop off and haven't bothered with the two latter albums

Punk came first, as that was happening when I was 10 or 11, so it was the first music that was 'mine'. Then I discovered Dylan, and joined the local record library. They had the entire back catalogues for everything decent from the 60s and 70s, so I worked my way through it. I also had Max Richter pointing me towards more obscure stuff.

Used to see the Enid regularly, Hawkwind, Mick Abrahams, Solstice, Girlschool were always on somewhere. Really liked experimental post-punk stuff like the Virgin Prunes too, so used to get the train down to Camden to see them. UK Decay and Tantra were local.

Of course, apologies. You're younger than me by a handful of years..
