I watched a couple of the Scotland matches over the past week as I can't be bothered watching England these days, even when KP's playing as he's wasted on Southgate.

Lyndon Dykes, whose originally an Aussie, was playing up top for the Jocks and was pretty impressive, wins every header and runs his socks off. He's currently at QPR and could be worth a punt if we're looking for an option to Bamford at some stage. When McBurnie replaced him he looked absolutely shocking, lazy, whatever negative adjective you want to use and had zero influence on the matches = he'd fit in well for England these days.

McGinn also looks a good steady player

McGinn is a smashing player WR, Villa missed him when he was out injured for much of last season.

I was right about McBurnnie, looks a useless lump in the prem & at international level.

Never rated him that much when he played at Barnsley & Swansea

Championship striker at best!

And yet when we played away to Swansea, I think the season before last, he played like a world beater

That's because we had to make changes. Pontus was injured, Cooper picked up a knock just before the game, we ended up playing Ayling & Berardi as our CB's with McBurnnie having a field day.

Also Kalvin was subbed early as he was struggling form-wise.

Over a period of time both Ayling & Berardi have improved playing CB roles under Bielsa's guidance, that game was early in Marcelo's reign

Very true 64.

That Serbia v Scotland match was good to watch and Dykes was very effective in bullying Serbia. as soon as Dykes and McGinn came off it was a completely different match. McBurnie was woeful, we definitely dodged a bullet there, he's also doing a great job playing shite for the Blunts :)

This season

Bamford 7-0 McBurnnie

Paddy should have 8 if VAR hadn't intervened

Even funnier the blunts lashed out £41m on McBurnnie & Brewster.......for what?

Leeds bought Bamford & Rodrigo for £34m

I think we got the better deal :-D

Reading 2-0 up at Bournemouth early on and my Acca was in tatters. Bournemouth now 3-2 and my Acca looks good again

From the Beeb just before Villa get a 92nd minute penalty.

It's for a late tackle on Grealish. Grealish has gone down the way that Jack Grealish does.

It's a late, tired tackle from Lamptey. It's cost him a red card.

It's a harsh one.
