Leeds United and VAR

Leeds United news: Club to write to Premier League after VAR controversy

https://www.givemesport.com/1615343-lee ... utoplay=on

Apparently Orta threw a wobbler in the stands at Palace after Bamford's dissallowed goal...

It is good to see the club standing up to this...and demanding absolute clarification... Sadly imo, unless the big 6 do it also ...it will fall on deaf ears.

After the farcical decisions last season, the Berardi penalty and sending off at Millwall, the Ben White penalty at Fulham and the sun got in his eyes linesman at Qpr, to name the three worst examples I said to myself that if we get to the Prem next season at least VAR will be available.

But now it has been worse. The Blunts ball over the line after restart. The Koch handball, the Newcastle penalty, the Pickford attack on Van Djik, last saturday and many many others.

I just think that having the technology available is making refs lazy, thnking that it their safety net, but its ruining the game.
If the naked eye cannot pick up the offense then there is no basis to make a ruling.

Question.

Why do sometimes the VAR calls the ref over to look at the monitor and other times doesn't? I didn't see the Ref having to look at the monitor on Saturday but he did on Monday night after Klich gave away that pen?

I dont get it?
