Not sure we will see him again. Why would the club risk all the negative headlines that will come with putting Kiko on the bench, especiall in this febrile social climate. If the press get hold of it they will have a field day. Without wanting to drag it all up again. If i was innocent i would want my name cleared. Kiko & the club just excepted his ban.

Kiko should go imo. If he's not going to attempt clearing his name he will always be guilty and is best off out of it for himself and the club's sake.

Never heard anything so ridiculous as the suggestions he should try to clear his name. How on earth would he do that given the lack of evidence used to 'convict' him. The only 'proof' was what 2 players said they thought they heard. So short of them changing their minds it is impossible to overturn. I don't know whether Kiko said what he is said to have said, only he can know that for sure.

I don't know why supporters don't get behind the players. Over the years how many times has Luke Ayling been slagged off, Dallas too, Cooper continually, Bamford all the time, Roberts, Douglas, Harrison, Costa, Hernandez got it too from many 'fans.' Such fickleness is disgusting get behind the club don't just give them your support when they win.

So in your opinion Weasel kiko should just sit back and do sweet fa ! I know for absolute certain if I was him I wouldn't be doing fa about it ! If I was accused and banned from anything for being racist I would move heaven and earth to get my name cleared ...as opposed to doing fa and get s**t on from a great height for nothing.

If i was Kiko i would be suing for defamation. As i say in this current febrile social environment people have been losing their jobs for a lot less than allegedly calling someone a N*****.

Kiko was found guilty of nothing except the possibility of using racist language (extremely doubtful he did in my opinion) and that landed him a ban on the basis of better safe than sorry on the part of the FA. Wouldn't stand up in court and unless those that gave evidence admit they lied there's not a lot he can do about it. He'd lose a defamation case through lack of evidence

I would have been happy going into the prem with him as our number 1 and still would be if Marcelo wants it.

A recent Adam Pope interview.
Pope: Wonderful but unorthodox clearance with that header inside the box.
Illan: Ah owe it all to ze auld alliance wif Eccose... zay teach me 'ow to do ze Glasgow kiss, but ah does wif ze ball and not wif ze bridge of ze noses.
Pope: so you are proud of being French?
Illan: Ah'm French! Why do think ah have zis outrageous accent, you silly person!
Pope: What do you think of Kiko?
Illan: Mind your own business! Ah do not fall for zis trap question... go boil you bottom in a pot of pig lard.
Pope: But what do you think of Kiko's 12 match ban.
Illan: It is good for me No!! Kiko 'e is not very good at ze taunting... 'e use ze wrong words, and ze EFL fall on 'im like a ton of guillotines.
Pope: But was it appropriate language.
Illan: 'e could 'ave said Ah blow ma nose at you, or ah fart in you general direction, or go boil your scrotum in sulphuric acid, you sons of a silly person.
Pope: Yes but in this day in age we have to be politically correct regarding our use of language.
Illan: 'e could 'ave said your mother was Shergar and your grandfather has slept in ze same underwear for 5 years.
Pope: Do you think it correct to use insults against you opponents?
Illan: But of course... and sometimes ze gallic retort is not enough and you 'ave to resort to ze Cantona kungfu kick. Actions speak louder zan ze words.
Pope: So you also condone violence?
Illan: Mitrovic elbows White, Ze Big Jack stand on ze toes of rival so zay can not jump. It happen all ze time.
Pope: Some of your ideas are rather controversial.
Illan: Ah know zat ma arse may be on ze line, and ah don't want a massive c**k up so ah say no more. Merci beaucoup, mon ami.

Meslier is a little untidy for my liking (requiring a second attempt to keep the ball etc) but he has done well.
Every game I predict a 3 - 1 Leeds win, I am traditional like that.

He has had some outstanding saves this season. And the best part is how good and calm he is with the ball in his feet. And he is so young.

Really surprisd me this year. Grew up fast in the first two games (7 goals). Showing great shot-stopping ability, confidence, good puncher, and great distribution. He's not the finished article but going to be great watching him mature.

‘Trebled his value’, ‘Going to be best in world’

The youngster has now kept nine clean sheets in just 16 league appearances.

He is superb... I am in awe with what he has done and how far he has come in such a short period of time...

Don't want to over praise him, but he has been magnificent for us recently.. he can only improve and get better, we need to tie him down to 5 years, with a ridiculous release clause.

Illian Meslier vs. Everton

81.8% distribution
48 touches
18/22 successful passes
8 saves (EIGHT)
5 saves from inside the box
4/7 successful long passes
1 high claim
1 clean sheet

Made eight saves today and kept successive clean sheets. Reminder that he's still only 20. :fire:

He's already a superb goalkeeper imo
Imagine how many points we would have got from our 10 matches played with el Clowno in the nets :?:
Pray to God that Meslier does not get injured ;-)
