I like the idea of submitting via PM.

Since doing so won't create a hardship for anyone we'll adopt that strategy. If the competition is down to two players I will ask each player to submit his/her selection via PM and will announce them both to all and sundry once they're in.

Agree Ges was my suggestion in the first place, choosing the same team not only makes the competition a non-event it prolongs other players from participating for at least two weeks.

Upon reflection, that's the best solution.

If we are down to two players left, they may not select the same team. The second person to pick may not select the same team as the first.

Still waiting on picks. The new rule is in effect: When down to two players only, the two remaining contestants may not select the same team. A slight advantage, therefore, goes to the player who gets his/her pick in first.
