£20m for Thiago who looks a hell of a player, class!

Re: Today's Games
Journalist just posted that Klopp got mad at his players for applauding the sending off. The bench players were applauding and Klopp turned around: "Are you crazy? We never ever do that. OK?"
Love it. Quality manager

Re: Today's Games
We gave Liverpool a much tougher time than Scum II.
To be fair, they're playing the second half with ten men, but whose fault is that? Plus, they didn't look like scoring even with all eleven men on the pitch.

To be fair to Chelsea, they seem to be missing Pulisic quite a bit.

Thiago gives a pen away for giving Werner a shoulder rub in the box. Jorginho does a jig in the run up and fluffs it.

Not sure why Chelsea signed Chilwell. They had 11 number 3's today

Still think Chelsea will be top 3. Looks like they've fixed the GK situation with Mendy. And with Chilwell, Thiago, and Pulisic, they've got a lot to add.

Lampard on the sending off - "Surprised that it was a yellow first, then a red. Thought it was somewhere in between."
What exactly is in between a yellow and a red card, Frank?

Re: Today's Games
Charlie Taylor puts in a deep curling cross for Chris Wood who controls the ball & thumps it into the corner of the net to give Burnley the lead at Leicester

Re: Today's Games
Regardless of attitude (Taylor) would you put either of those players in our current lineup?
Definitely prefer Bamford over Wood for his all round game. Taylor is a difficult one as he's a more natural fit at LB but you have to love everything that Dallas offers

It was basically a rugby tackle.

Chelsea were poor they wanted not to lose rather than to win.
Another team of talented individuals thrown together by an inept manager.
At least us and Sheffield United have managers who have a clue.

Re: Today's Games
Wood can sniff a goal out, but no way could he play Bielsa's system like Bamford, does not offer what Paddy does... As for Taylor, NO I don't think you can ignore a player's attitude when assessing him, Dallas the much more reliable player.andrewjohnsmith wrote: ↑Sun Sep 20, 2020 6:23 pm Regardless of attitude (Taylor) would you put either of those players in our current lineup?
