Wolvea closing in on a record breaking deal for 18 year old Fabio Silva, he is Portuguese (surprise) and the youngest goalscorer in Porto history.

Only got 3 goals and 2 assists in Senior football however and his minutes played amount to a grand total of about 6 matches.

Great record for his age, very highly rated but £35mil?

Really

Wolves have confirmed the club record £35million deal for 18 year old striker Fabio Silva, very highly rated but very little actual track record.

Arsenal have got Dani Ceballos back on loan.

Newcastle and Villa battling it out for Callum Wilson with the Bournemouth striker reportedly preferring a move to Newcastle.

David Button has joined WBA from Brighton.

Newcastle have had a £13mil bid accepted for Jamal Lewis.

Others have chipped in apparently.

Declan Rice liked the post, seen Snoddy mentioned to by West ham fans.

Fans and players vs the board.

Where do you go from there?
I get the feeling that the beginning of the season being bcd will greatly help them. Otherwise the fans turning on the club board specifically would've gotten nasty and probably distracts the squad.

Just don't know how any reconciliation would be possible without i don't even know. I read reports that they are behind in payments for Haller from last summer which also doesn't help either

Wolves are showing some ambition. Fabio Silva looks a top prospect.

BBC says Wilson (Callum) to Newcastle for £20m. I'd have brought him to Leeds for that.

That signing will probably ensure that if our signing of Josko Gvardiol goes ahead for £18M then it will hardly raise an eyebrow.

If it does go ahead, as it now seems that it will, I wonder if our 18 year old would contain their 18 year old?

On paper he does yes but 12months ago they signed a 21 year old full Italian international striker with an 18 goal season at AC Milan under his belt.

He is now on a 2 year loan deal back in Italy.

Patrick Cutrone looked a top prospect but he couldn't cope with the Prem.

I wouldn't be happy if we signed an untested 18 year old as our club record signing tbh, massive risk.

Good signing. I would have taken that. I'd be happier if we got the 2nd Rodrigo though.

I like what Newcastle have done: Wilson, Hendrick (free), Fraser (free). They were about to get Holding but looks off now.

Chelsea close to signing goalkeeper Edouard Mendy for over £20mil from Rennes.

Basically buying an entire new team, so weird.

Still want Declan Rice also.

Typical British over-inflated market, weird as our four national teams are a bit of a embarrassment tbh

If we develop our own players, we don't need to overpay for average English players.

Wasting money when they let a better player in Ampadu leave.

Hope they do anyway, it will be funnier when Lampard wins nothing after his spending spree.

Villa close to completing a club record £28mil deal for Ollie Watkins.

Did well at Championship level last season but that price is why im so glad we stayed away.

Similar to Ben White, Watkins is unproven above Championship level.

Cant see why Villa paid £10mil more for Watkins than Brighton paid for Maupay.

Watkins has a worse minutes to goal ratio than Maupay had and Maupay had 5 more assists.

They paying for potential to though which costs a premium and Watkins has potential.

May turn out to be a good deal if Watkins scores the goals Maupay did but imo Villa have definitely overpaid same as they did for Matty Cash.

Good signing for them. I agree that they paid over the odds though - didn't hear a bidding war going on

They missed a couple of windows so I suppose this is an accumulation. Frank's been in the job for a year and this is the first chance he's had to sign players.

Still what happened to his ability to bring through the youth?

That's massive Cjay a fee that could rise to £33m with add-ons.
