Looks like an excellent bit of business with a keeper many of us have doubts about. He may well eradicate errors from his game and go on to be an excellent keeper but no matter what I don't think he will ever become a sweeper keeper so wouldn't fit in at Leeds unless we changed our style. Sean Dyche, at Burnley, has shown he prefers a straightforward keeper having previously snapped up Joe Hart who found himself in a similar position to BPF as in he was at a club that wanted a sweeper keeper and as such he didn't fit.

One huge plus that BPF has going for him is has been his ability to not let a mistake affect him for the rest of that game. He has made mistakes but then done well in games which shows he is tough mentally - contrast it to Rabchuka for Leeds who made a mistake and then had a nightmare game or two as he couldn't recover from it. Will be interesting to see where BPF ends up going on loan.

Yeah he anticipated a clean connect , but even then he was all over the place. But the tone poke round the post is ridiculous. Made BP look silly. He had a Kiko moment earlier in the game too when he flapped at one.

Gutted we weren't able to hang on after going ahead so late..

Bloody Eufa changing us out of our group to suit the ROI has cost us.

Very poor for the third goal, he just stuck out a leg. Depay should never have scored from there.
It has to be said, he is not a great keeper and I doubt he will ever break into Burnley's side.
The Championship or lower beckons for BPF.

The whole of the Irish defence fell apart in those last ten minutes. I reckon BPF should have saved two of those goals. What was he doing when he flew like a bird into the back of the net ?

Really disappointed in this latest posting. Why, why, why, bother to post the video? The lad no longer plays for us, so why still this Bailey bashing. Why the scrutiny of the kid. I never said he was a great keeper....only that he was unfairly chucked in at the deep end by Bielsa.....and also the NI manager who obviously feels he has no other option.....again not BPF's fault! And he suffered disgraceful bullying by the Leeds Utd boo boys. But hey.....its something to talk about as Leeds Utd don't have a game this weekend....so what can we talk about instead......I know, lets bash Bailey.....again. He's nothing to do with Leeds Utd any more but you know, that doesn't really seem to matter to some of you. Yes, he flapped, but what was the defender doing standing there with his arms outstretched in statue mode.....he also could have anticipated what was about to happen and raced onto the goal line to clear.....the Irish defence have a lot to answer for as well.....actually. FFS leave the kid alone....

I think the forum goes a bit quiet when we dont have a game. International breaks really bug me, I just want regular football not the dross we're being served up by these prima donnas....now another week without our beloved Leeds United playing

I was opposed to his leaving, and gutted at the amount we got for him... Not blaming Orta, different times different needs... however this is one who should not have got away IMO.

Id be happy to see Meslier as back up, but how long can we continue with the languid performances of Casilla?
