The last few sessions of Parliament have been pretty dramatic.

The last few sessions of Parliament have been pretty dramatic.

Heady stuff.

They behave like schoolchildren, hard to believe these people are paid £100k+ annually to bicker amongst each other for supremacy instead of implementing decisions they are suppose to be making.

Well it cost me from day one.
The day after the referendum my clients cancelled a big job I had lined up because they lost money due to the pound losing value against other currencies.

Just a small example of how there was an immediate consequence, which of course has had a knock in effect on down the line.

Radiohead 'Kid A'

Mention Radiohead’s “Kid A”, to music aficionados and that one album title brings up significant discussion and disagreement. For every person who loves it dearly, there are those who dislike it and can rarely be won over to its merits. Is it one of the most brilliant albums recorded at the turn of the 21st century or a hyperbolized effort in esoterica? Whichever side of the fence you land on, the album was a watershed moment for the members of Radiohead.

Ugh - Horrible. Bought it and hated it. A friend said I had to play it a few times. No, still hated it. Sold it at a car boot. Fast forward a decade, somebody on Waccoe music thread (probably you) said I had to listen to it, it was fantastic. Bought it again. Still hated it. Gave it away, again.

Can't find the TV thread, so I'll put it here, seeing it has a fantastic 60's soundtrack (including a few I had forgotten, but will be eventually making an appearance in the Mega Song poll thread).

The Queen's Gambit. It's about Chess. It is not boring. Only seven episodes.

Rita and me watched all 7 episodes last saturday night Gandalf, excellent series, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Never really been a TV drama watcher. I can recall watching All Creatures Great and Small back in the late 70's/early 80's....but not really much since.

Never any interest in any of the Sky (etc) box set series programmes.......until, in the summer I watched the first episode of 'Gomorrah' on Sky Atlantic. I was hooked and within a couple of weeks I had watched all 48 episodes (over 4 series).

It was the first time I've ever 'binged'. I subsequently sought professional help and haven't relapsed since

Here in the colonies in the heights of winter when we are in the -35c (+) area ... Binge watching box sets has become a great week end pastime for me and her indoors A few recomendations...

Just finished the Sopranos
currently watching Lost, Smallville, Z nation

Just finished the series Life from BBC very good

Currently watching The Walking Dead again.

All time fave is the Sopranos, never get sick of watching it.

Mindhunter is great, but David Fincher is busy with other stuff, so it's unlikely it will return for a long time maybe never.

Love, Death and Robots is quirky, short and different.

Fargo is brilliant if you lie a bit of dare I say it "black" comedy

Comedy wise: Fawlty Towers and the Royle Family are still awesome.

For documentaries: Making a Murderer, and Last Chance U are superb
