Sorry to see Kemar go, good player at this level and looked a perfect fit for Bielsa's system. But it does seem a good deal for all involved (on the basis that he is replaced) and I wish him well.

I think it's a brilliant piece of business (Roofe deal) if someone like Gayle comes in, Gayle is proven year after year in this League.
I think Roofe has gone as far as he can go in the English Leagues but he will never be a Premiership player as he he would of been snapped up by now, look at Chris Wood who was prolific for us has only scored 10 goals in 38 appearances for Burnley last Season. Just like Gayle, Billy Sharp, Vydra they are great Championship players but Premier League is a different kettle of fish.
In saying all that I do wish Roofe the very best and thank him for the fantastic memories and joy his given me.
I saw that Rangers won 5-1 today. I looked to see if Roofe was among the goals.
Roofe has a calf injury which will keep him sidelined until after the next international break!
Although he was a good player I think we made the correct decision in letting him go.

I think he would have been a key player for us in the championship last year if we'd kept him around. Would struggle to get in the squad this year
This is the kind of finishing we could do with - we should sign him up. Oh wait, he used to play for us didn't he ??
