Re: Radz speaks
I'll always stand my ground.....my dad always used to say he could never win an argument and he was debate captain in school. I'm not being contrary by the way I'm happy that Rads keeps the fans well informed about the running of the club.

Re: Radz speaks
I'm not having a moan about what Radz has done for the club, far from it. In fact I think he has achieved great things since he arrived. I also don't mind him telling us what's going on behind the scenes, in fact it's refreshing to have an owner who doesn't hide away from us, but the hunt for a manager is old news, it's gone, we move on. Why bother coming out now, four games into the new season, telling everyone who he wanted, who he didn't, who fitted the bill, who didn't. It just doesn't achieve anything...I'd rather him come out and say that we are far down the line in bringing in a couple of CB's....now that would be worth listening to.

Maybe he got sick of all the forums saying we were close to signing McClaren....and wanted to set the record straight...

Re: TOMA: Radrizzani/ASER Group buys 50% share of club
Don't know if this is the right thread.
Since AR has walked through the Leeds United revolving door. He had one objective to get Leeds promoted and i'm really glad for him that its almost now a reality.
“You can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”.
Credit where credits due. The decisions he has made on all sorts of little initiatives, and incentives have bought the club back to life. And he does it all with the biggest smile known to man. Bringing in Bielsa was a masterstroke, even if he was third choice.

Couple of slips along the way but he's go the important descisions right.
I think the fact we were able to land Bielsa and keep hold of Bielsa proves what a good job the management team are doing and the improvements to the academy after years of underfunding is great for the future.

Criticisms of Radz et al can have validity, but they can also have counter arguments too. It's complicated but next to the simplicity of some other issues with owners such as, oh I don't know, using stadium sales to cheat FFP? I know which one I prefer.

Radrizzani and York Family Have to Act Now
In light of another poor display from the Whites a 0-4 loss to Spurs what now for Leeds United.
As in my many posts before I only call it as I see it. Biesla is paid to do a job and clearly its not working.
The investment from the York family who own the 49ers are keen to take Leeds into a new level. They are
planning to buy a majority share holding in the near future but after what they saw today its unlikely that
Bielsa will be charge by Monday latest. There can not be any sentiment when the Premiership status is at risk. Remember its taken Leeds 16 years to regain its status as a top premier league club and we all know how difficult those years were for all of us. As much as I appreciate the work that Biesla has done in getting us where we need to be, his time is over and a new manager needs to be appointed. Any other decision will see us back in the Championship fighting in the trenches once again.

Re: Radrizzani and York Family Have to Act Now
It is a pity because bielsa was our hero when he got us promoted and first year in premier we punched way above our weight mostly because no fans.. this year has been diabolical so unfortunately bielsa is to blame for certain things like keeping a championship squad together and a small one at that, whether he wanted better player that none of us know about noone will ever know but we beleive that he was happy with this lot and probably thought he could replicate last season, unfortunately that has not been the case, I do feel sympathy for him but he can't keep playing square pegs into round holes etc.. but the big Big big finger has to point to out tight fisted owner who kept his wallet closed and was probably loving the fact that bielsa didn't want anybody and wanted to keep to a small squad. So it's unfortunate that it has turned out so sour for bielsa. But it's the owner to blame and obviously orta and kinear too. What we need now is a fresh owner who has plenty of dough because that is what it's going to cost to refurbish this team from top to bottom.

Is it the owner not splashing cash , is it director of football not getting transfers done or is it the coach not wanting suggested players ? Who knows , someone or all are to blame . The coach will carry the can first though whatever . Either way new blood may have helped somewhat , never know now though .Scoobychief wrote: ↑Sat Feb 26, 2022 7:23 pm It is a pity because bielsa was our hero when he got us promoted and first year in premier we punched way above our weight mostly because no fans.. this year has been diabolical so unfortunately bielsa is to blame for certain things like keeping a championship squad together and a small one at that, whether he wanted better player that none of us know about noone will ever know but we beleive that he was happy with this lot and probably thought he could replicate last season, unfortunately that has not been the case, I do feel sympathy for him but he can't keep playing square pegs into round holes etc.. but the big Big big finger has to point to out tight fisted owner who kept his wallet closed and was probably loving the fact that bielsa didn't want anybody and wanted to keep to a small squad. I don't know the real reasons for the 49'ers rare appearance, but it's not a coincidence they are here in these traumatic times at ER. They are obviously concerned about their investment & the future of our club.
Something has gone very wrong!

Totally agree mate, we all know MB's done, feel for the guy, he's a genuine, honest guy, but he couldn't cope with the hidden agenda in the PL, some clubs will win no matter what.....
But the fact that they came over to erm, give the fatal blow, makes me wonder how much Radz etc care about our club
And before peeps say we were out played, we had more corrupt decisons against us in the last 4 games than any team in a decade, they want us out
