Re: QPR v Leeds - MAN OF THE MATCH
Bartley - 9 - was superb all day, the true leader on the field today, excellent in defence (Could do nothing for the penalty nor the Coyle error) sublime passing out of defence including several crossfield passes and first to console and gee up Vierra after the penalty. I was a Bartley sceptic before seeing him today but we could have a good CH pairing when Cooper comes back. Defence was decent today despite the score.
Not as bad as Pat makes out by any means but work needs doing
If we can sell Wood that would be great. Sacko and Roofe showed skill and they'll be dangerous going forward and on another day Antonsson could have had a couple.

Coyle for me, best player when he came on, yes at fault for the 3rd goal but he shouldn't have been left out there alone with their centre forward, Bartley second a good solid game and a far better captain that Bambi, third Charlie again a good solid game and looked good going forward pity his crossing wasn't top par today.
Can we do some minus marks as well Dave was awful and the game passed him by, only knew Grimes was on cause he got booked

Bartley for me too. Also skeptical of him in preseason, but did well as Bamba was patrolling area 51 looking for unicorns.

Vieira for me. Closely followed by Bartley and Coyle. Very disappointed with Roofe and Grimes.

Re: QPR v Leeds - MAN OF THE MATCH
Had to mark Vierra down due to giving away the soft penalty (which probably wasn't to be fair but QPR got every decision) up till then he was neck and neck with Coyle and Bartley for MOTM. I also marked down Coyle for losing his mark for the goal. But that will be a good lesson.
Basically we lost 1-0 and that was fair considering the venue and the ref. A sending off could have drastically altered the game and that was sending off twice over. I don't think we'll see a worse decision all season

If we did negative marks they would go to Wood and Grimes (I had hopes for Grimes) Dave did ok today, not great but that wasn't a 3-0 defeat performance

Re: QPR v Leeds - MAN OF THE MATCH
Bartley for me, ahead of Coyle and Viera. As others have said, Bartley looks a natural leader, composed and has a decent range of passing. At the other end of the scale, Grimes was non-existent, Wood was typical Wood and I'm nervous every time the ball goes near Rob Green

If we're doing 3 votes then
Bartley ( I was getting ready to rip him a new one, really disappointed he played so well)
Coyle (Excellent right up to the lapse, but that was junk time and most of the team was back in the dressing room by then)
Vierra (Apparently tangled feet is a pen but kicking the s**t out of players three times is ok)

This new format isn't working - There are no votes for Dallas.

Re: QPR v Leeds - MAN OF THE MATCH
Viera man of the match in my opinion, the penalty he conceded wasn't a penalty imo so I can't criticise Ronaldo for that.
We managed 57% possession (somehow) and that certainly wasn't down to the quality of our passing that was down to Ronaldo winning the ball back quickly plus he had very little help from Dave. Viera picked out some great passes as well. None of our players played particularly well, however, Viera was our best player today.

Yes, that pretty much says it. Bamba was MOTM, but his influence was not positiveCrude wrote:....as Bamba was patrolling area 51 looking for unicorns.
