McDermott Live
It may have been posted elsewhere, I haven't looked, but Brian McDermott is going to be on Sky Sport News at 1.15, wonder if he will clear anything up?

What did he say then?
I'm going back to 505, I saw them at Sheffield and they were amazing.

Re: McDermott Live
Putting aside his flaws as a manager, and show me a manager without flaws, BMD obviously has a real affinity for our club and the fans. If there's any justice, he will at least be afforded the opportunity to put together a team capable of getting up and staying up. Maybe he's not the ONE, but he wants what's best for Leeds United, which appears to be a rare commodity amongst those controlling the club's destiny. An honourable and decent man working in a circus not of his own making

...And, if he is given time - If he gets a few quid to spend and, it looks like he's working on some of the younger kids, also, get rid of some of the dead wood - we could piss this league, next year. Maybe, we might just sneak into the playoffs this season.

He's won my heart very dignified and respectful man totally the opposite of Colin

Maybe I've missed it, but who changed the team?

i agree with you faaip, i think he had been blaming this take over oohaa for his team losing. A bit of an excuse if you ask me.
Re: McDermott Live
The only new thing we learned from the interview was that the Friday morning team (McDermotts) was changed on Friday afternoon (to what???), and then changed back again on Saturday morning, and thank goodness for that!
I noted that, as usual, the Press asked the same questions in a dozen different ways, trying to get Brian to compromise himself or criticize the Chellino team. Thankfully, he stayed calm and dignified, just waiting now to see what the result of the FA FAPP test!

Is your opinion based on his performance as a manager in isolation or are you using others as a comparator?faaip wrote: great bloke...average manager...

Re: McDermott Live
Average manager?
Inherited a team of sloggers, was promised money spent some then told it has run out, turned a hot and cold striker into the leagues top scorer, brought on youth and has by all accounts made the players more united than have been for a long time.
If someone told me rmc would score 22 goals this season I would be happy, 22 goals by feb 1st I never would have believed you.
sounds like an average manager to me.......

Isolation. He does too many things wrong for me...again as a person I really like him, seems the real deal.
