Millwall game to be made available on PPV to overseas

Post by Bomber1 »

Uncle Ken doesn't miss a trick does he.

Not complaining as will probably provide a decent revenue stream and is good to see our club looking into all potential income opportunites.

PLUS i'm sure our overseas fans will be pretty happy about this? Or is it nothing new?

Anyway glad to see that We Revolve...we don't evolve... No no, the other way round

Good - Is the game going to shown in USA .

I mentioned in earlier thread - I would pay to watch the games from the USA cheaper than flying home every weekend.

They show all NFL matches - by signing a fee at beginning of the season.

I would if I could - but my steam driven p.c. is struggling to get my show on line lately....it couldn't handle streaming. Hopefully getting a new comp next month, so if the club are doing this regularly thru the season, like I've heard - then I'll stream them to VLR.

Any additional info on this PPV? Any word on if this will be available on DIRECTV or anywhere else in the states?

Thanks

So far, only S.Africa, Germany and Spain can get it - if it ain't available in Denmark, a certain media colleague at LUTV is going to suffer death by a thousand cuts!

Just heard back from my mate at LUTV that it is proving almost impossible to get broadcasting rights to anywhere other than the countries already listed. All the Scandinavian countries are 100% a no-no.

Friend of mine in Spain tried to sign up yesterday, and was refused, as "your credit card was issued outside the UK" WTF??
Another cockup, by this new head of marketing.

LUTV mate did say it should work if you sign up behind a proxy.

Ha ha - that's a cracker. You can only get it overseas but you can't pay for it overseas so you can't get it there.
