The lad killed by the tiger has been named as William Chapman.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/40665349/ ... e-attempt/

He recorded himself approaching the tiger and had some pictures of him holding a bible and a crossbow.

Very strange story all round.

Now the wildlife park is under safety investigation & talk about closing zoo's down, all due to one idiot on a suicide mission.

I feel sorry for the families & the park owners of the animals who witnessed this horrific act. As a kid I wouldn't want to return to a zoo ever again, this selfish bloke has spoiled what should have been a pleasant day out.

God knows how it affects them all.

Thing is, a lot of news reports describe him as vulnerable.
He could have been autistic and requiring a carer to have been with him.

He also signs to the tiger " thats bad, thats naughty".

To me it sounds like a vulnerable young man has lost his life in a tragic preventable way, I doubt he left home that day thinking " today im going to be selfish and ruin some people's day by getting mauled to death by a tiger"

I'm happy the tiger wasn't destroyed by the way, it was doing what tigers do.

Another young life lost in possibly preventable circumstances.

The carer stuff was rumoured early.

Doesn't seem to be the case.

He was alone, and apparently had a minor acting career when younger and attended quite a prestigious stage school.

It's very odd.

Here we go again, great britain trying to be a world leader, this time we are going to spunk billions ££££ on cleaning up in space

We can't defend our borders from invasion of illegals every day, destroying the lives of indigenous Brits.(we are an island yet cannot protect ourselves)

We are in extreme drought conditions, yet we all knew about global warming over 25 yrs ago, (we are an island yet cannot build desalination plants like desert countries can)

We have to recycle and show the world how to do it. (we are an island whose shores are relatively clean up to other nations who openly dump waste in the sea)
