Interesting discussion on Leeds View today.
Farke has a year left on his contract. Not like a player who becomes a free agent - the club have him for a year even if he doesn't sign something now - so there is no real urgency here.
From his side, he may be waiting to see what the transfer window looks like and what shape the squad is taking. In other words, is the club meeting his stated desire for ambition for the season ahead.
From the club's side, they can wait a few months to see how the squad gels after the new season starts.
One year deals aren't unusual for managers - Bielsa, Ariola, etc.
So we may well not see any news on this for a while - and that's OK. It's also OK - imo - if they do announce a new deal.
One of the itk lot has said he knows what's happening with DF.
But hasn't said what it is (presumably because it's not widely known).
One would assume he's not leaving at this stage.
So either they are waiting for the season to see how we do or it's signed.

We all could say that
But he's one of the few whose proven his status many times and proven he knows someone very high up (above Daniel).
So I'd be inclined to trust he does know but won't say for whatever reason.

I know precisely what is happening with Farke but I won't tell, because if I did tell it would be boasting, and then I could at a later date come out and say I told you so. I am keeping the secret to myself... savour it. WHY should I share it with anyone else? Let's just say it is to do with a combination of kaballistic numerology and astrology and a plan for moving the club forward in the right direction.

I prefer the 4 man defence, but that would need a LCB in Struijk's class or better and maybe a better defender than Gudmundsson because in a 4 the wing backs need to be full backs a lot of the time. Bogle is passable
