Good signing.
We have a free kick specialist on both sides now.
He's more than just that though.

Never seen it Chilli, although my dad would reference it when my mum had shouted at him 😂😂😂

Good signing! No transfer fee, and a direct upgrade for Aaronson. 8-)

Why? I thought it was interesting that we were left wondering what happened next.

Mine too, whenever we want to watch an old favourite, because most modern films are tosh, castaway is one of our go-tos.

I go with Field of Dreams or High Fidelity

I've seen some reporting that LUFC paid Harry Wilson a "lucrative" signing on fee. Which was made possible by the lack of a transfer fee. Do any of you have an insight as what that amount is? That same reporting has him on £90,000 per week.

Assuming £3.5m signing-on fee quoted elsewhere is correct, cost over 4 years @ £90k/week is £20.2m.

Great business.

Great business.
Likely also that the signing fee is a way round bringing the weekly wages down so as to fit into the club's wage structure better - i.e. £2m up front signing fee and knock £10k per week of the wages.

I just don't think that someone who had survived a plane crash and been alone on an island for four years would have been allowed to just get on with his life quite so easily. He would have been hounded for TV appearances, book deals etc

I'd think he'd be one of the top earners around near what DCL earns pw, which is around 120k per. Longstaff is on 80k as a back up, 90k seems a little low

Never thought of it like that. Different times maybe? Or perhaps I’m just naive.
