There is a good keeper in there if he can get back on the rails.
He can take his time now, we don't know if anyone has put feelers out

Not read anyone elses comments so this might have been written elsewhere but... Farke destroyed this guy by keeping him in the spotlight far too long when he hit a bad patch! Should have pulled him out sooner. His career ground to a halt and he has been wasted here. I'm not saying he's a world beater but he's a better keeper than we gave him credit for. He is leaving for nothing because Farke destroyed him. Good servant to the club! Bielsa made him our number 1 so that must count for something! I feel for Meslier and wish him well...

Hope he does well wherever he ends up.
Has a lot of potential (that ugly word) with the right goalie coach he could be anything.

All the best Illan. It was good wilst it lasted but for a hiccup or two just didn't work out. Shame.

Feels like I’m in a minority, but I don’t see Meslier as anything more than a decent enough keeper but nothing particularly special.

Time will tell, but I doubt we will see him at any major tournaments for France.

Maybe he is content to play out the rest of his career as a back-up

Lukic was old though wasn't he by that point? Mes should be in his prime.

I believe both Lukic and Seaman dropped down the leagues, played some games and then were snapped up by Arsenal.

I would be very surprised if Messlier made it at a high level. He certainly has some gk attributes but for me it was always about the potential due to his age. I don't think he improved despite the amount of games he played. Maybe with good coaching away from the pressure cooker of Leeds.

Another recent high value player who's gone for zilch.....

If the 49rs follow Brighton's lead they won't have to keep banging on about psr so much.

I hope for Mes's sake that there is a club out there for him and that he has a deal in the works in the background. The lack of rumour about him, even though he is available on a free, speaks volumes.

His confidence has taken a pounding and hopefully he can get back on the horse again.

He'll certainly improve the confidence of Arsenal's forwards in training.

Dreadful goalkeeper and should have been ditched years ago.

Funny how times change

I will have to think about what could be the best project”, “Chelsea? If it is to go and be on the bench… I’m not interested in that. If it’s to be the number one, of course, you can’t say I’m not interested in Chelsea”.

Good luck to him in his new career as very highly paid bench warmer.
