Cyclists when driving.

You finally manage to drive past them after following them for what seems like an eternity down a country lane making sure you give them the minimum 1.5m clearance, any less and you see their angry faces as they gesticulate wildly in your rear view mirror.

Next thing you’re at the traffic lights and the cyclist approaches squeezing their way down the inside of your car almost taking out your wing mirror and sit there slightly in front waiting for the lights to change. The lights change and the whole process starts again.

I now purposely make sure there isn’t enough room for them to get down the inside of my car. I see it that the 1.5m rule works both ways !

It’s worse when they fist pump when the opponent makes a mistake as if it was their fantastic prior shot that won the point.
Tim Henman was an expert at it.

A basketball player makes a good free throw, then there is a lot of hand slapping, as though they are passing their good fortune on to others. Same in ice hockey after someone has scored a goal they bump the fists of the rest of the team sitting behind the barrier of the rink. Feels like a superstitious ritual.
